Finally, another one off the list. A pig frog with its distinctive ears. Always heard them - a deep grunt that sounds like an alligator grunt, but never could find them (other than in a Great Heron's beak).

Nice. Nothing beats finding an elusive wildlife specimen in it’s natural habitat.

Typical cat...I have photos of my mother's cat in a paper sack, in an open cupboard, etc.
Sometimes see two or three of these loads of BIG tires heading to SE BC. They're for those 300 ton trucks that haul coal from the seam to be processed.

Funny thing is we have two cats - sibling sisters - and the one cat never goes in the boxes.

In Aug of 2013, a client insisted two of my coworkers remove a nest from her back deck. They told me about it, and I just had to do my best with the situation at-hand. Two, baby squirrels were inside.
I was able to save one:
Kept Squiggles alive with KMR, a cozy box and a warm lamp for about three weeks. I gave it to a wildlife rehabilitation org. after its eyes had opened.
