I have no doubt by now there'll be something like a 4.7" iPhone and I also expect a new res (that I can't recall the details of, but it made sense) to keep it Retina, and I wouldn't be (that) surprised to see a 5.5" that Kuo says will be coming next spring. Wonder about the volume demand for that one though.
Whatever, I don't see them foregoing staying current in the size that's still the best selling phone in the US, so would expect to see a rollout of a 4" 5s successor and a 4.7" model this fall - both sporting the A8 (or a 4 and a 4.9 and no 5.5 for at least awhile).
So, "iphone 6 Air" (4", A8, slightly thinner/lighter than the 5s) and an "iPhone 6" (4.7-4.9", A8 and larger cam sensor) anyone...??
Secondarily, with two really new models for the first time, fifty to hundred buck jump on the (subsidized) 4.7, same price on the 4 and new color casings on a 16/32 bit "iPhone 5sc" as the $99/199 entry....?
Again, whatever, not the same as any previous intro.. ..really due for two state of the art models in the phone line, which the iPad (and desktop and notebook lines) already have. (And altho' Kuo also claims the mini-Retina's going to stay the same, I also doubt that, though it'd be nice to see it stick around as an entry level with a price cut as they do with phones and the "big iPad".)
