Yep.

Ugly. Could be any cheap phone by any company.

Hope these aren't too reflective of the final product.

Looking forward to these. Am using the wife's old 4 at the moment. I don't care about the looks as it will be going in a case.

Will have to wait till both sizes are out to make the decision. The 4.7 seems like a good choice as it's the same size as my old nexus 4, and that screen was great.

The black/slate version looks nicer.:)

I'll so be hitting that big, black beauty...

...is what she said, yeah.

EDIT: But please, please, please - oh pretty please - don't go messing this up with some weird 1703,9 x 30pi^3 resolution. 1920x1080 is a perfectly good standard and gives a nice, crisp display at that size. Use it.

Too much bezel, esp. compared to newly launched LG G3. This one is my benchmark phone, to be compared to iPhone 6 5.5" and Note 4.

What the **** does it matter As long as i can't see the pixels that can make it whatever resolution they want.

Agree, but it seems more bearable on the bigger model. At least the bezels finally look small in comparison to the display.

I want **** done right. I hate it when companies goof around and get silly for the sake of being silly.

I just hope the final version looks much better of what we have seen so far... :( what I’ve seen so far it’s not that good

Indeed, looks too generic. It's way too curved. If the final version looks similar it will be the first time I think Samsung isn't that ugly.

Alright .
Images of backcover a few weeks ago, showed a cutout for the apple logo.
This doesnt have one , instead it would be pronted on this one like in the previous iphones.

So . One of these is fake , or both of them are :)

The home button in its current location and size appears to be an outdated design, And I don't understand why it is not placed in another area?

Moving it or reshaping it could allow a much better form factor.

Whatever you guys say, all information we did get over the last weeks point to this new design; whether the apple logo is cut out or not doesn't matter, but it all boils down to this new roundish body.

I'm really hating the protruding camera lens. Every mockup I have seen has included that, so I'm starting to get worried that will be a real thing. Especially with it being offset in one corner, and with a large touch surface, isn't that going to make it wobbly/rattle-y when used flat on a surface (table)?

As far as the lack of the dual LED flash, I assume they could just start using a single multicolor LED and not have to mix 2 fixed colors anymore.

I have no doubt by now there'll be something like a 4.7" iPhone and I also expect a new res (that I can't recall the details of, but it made sense) to keep it Retina, and I wouldn't be (that) surprised to see a 5.5" that Kuo says will be coming next spring. Wonder about the volume demand for that one though.

Whatever, I don't see them foregoing staying current in the size that's still the best selling phone in the US, so would expect to see a rollout of a 4" 5s successor and a 4.7" model this fall - both sporting the A8 (or a 4 and a 4.9 and no 5.5 for at least awhile).

So, "iphone 6 Air" (4", A8, slightly thinner/lighter than the 5s) and an "iPhone 6" (4.7-4.9", A8 and larger cam sensor) anyone...??

Secondarily, with two really new models for the first time, fifty to hundred buck jump on the (subsidized) 4.7, same price on the 4 and new color casings on a 16/32 bit "iPhone 5sc" as the $99/199 entry....?

Again, whatever, not the same as any previous intro.. ..really due for two state of the art models in the phone line, which the iPad (and desktop and notebook lines) already have. (And altho' Kuo also claims the mini-Retina's going to stay the same, I also doubt that, though it'd be nice to see it stick around as an entry level with a price cut as they do with phones and the "big iPad".)

Looks nice. Smaller bezels too. One thing that bugs me though is the software on the 5.5, why they still put 4x4 grid icons beats me (to be fair we have no idea what they'll actually do)

Ugly as ****
Why don't they keep the 4" version? I don't want a bigger phone then my iphone 5.

Tim Cook I hate you, you are making Apple just like every other Android company. Cheap, big and ugly!

Well, that has always been the case, hasn't it?

Aside from a brief flurry of interest when it was first introduced, I don't think the gold colour has been very popular in western countries. It's aimed more at the Chinese and Middle-eastern markets, where consumer tastes are a bit different.

Good god, the front of the 4.7" model looks UGLY!

That has to be the largest bezel of all top-tier phones of 2014. I can't see Jony Ive coming up with something like this. It has to be a fake. If it isn't, I'm probably staying with my 5S. Hell, I think I'd even take the 5.5" model and look like a fool, rather than the bezel-phone.

I can't get over how ugly those breaks are ... like seriously. I've always loved all of the previous iPhone designs and never had a problems with the changes in iOS 7 but this looks so gross. I can't even. Obviously I'm still going to go out and buy it just cause it's an iPhone freakin 6 but still ... why you gotta make it not classy??

To me it's the opposite: I like those breaks, they could even be bigger.
