Hell yes-- that's the exact color combo that I want.

Now, what if--- this replaces the black model due to the chipping/scratching issues?

Someone needs to tell Apple there are more colors to choose from.

Boring color in my opinion.

This are the right colors for a premium product. And the more colorful ones for the 5C. Its a brilliant lineup and strategy.

Of course hipsters are going to love the graphite color...as is evidence by all the post replys before and after this one.

That looks great! With the 5 I wanted the silver back but don't like having a white front (I like having a black border around my screen to make content pop) so this looks like the perfect combination.

Getting Nervous

I love the look of these new iPhones but I'm worried that all they shown so far is new colors and the fingerprint sensor. Is that really all there's going to be? Everything else seems like just the normal state of upgrades. Better processors and better cameras. I'm looking for something at least makes me want to buy a new phone and the fingerprint sensor isn't it. Also, why no leaks of new sizes? I don't think it is wise for Apple to deny that a certain segment of people want larger phones, just like they acknowledged the need for the smaller iPad.

Nothing I have seen so far makes me want to buy a new phone or iPad and I have bought the most expensive version of every non-computer device they have offered since the iPhone 1.

Like what, green? Purple? Those colors are associated with inferior products across the industry. Sony and HP high end stuff comes in black, silver and white just like Apple. People associate those colors with being modern and powerful. It's marketing and clearly, it works. ;)

The "5c" will most likely come in an array of colors, like the iPod Nano's always have.

What made you get a 4S compared to a 4? Seems like the 5S will be a bigger upgrade over the 5 than the 4S was to the 4.

The new lineup looks nice.

Although it does still look like they will scratch easily, unless they've changed the manufacturing process whilst maintaining the same look of course.

I need to see how these colors will look in person. Then I'll make my final judgement. In all honesty I wasnt too fond of the white iPhone til I saw it then it grew on me

Maybe we should wait for the "one more thing" before we conclude that that's going to be it. Apple know people are desperate for something new and exciting so let's give them a chance and play the waiting game before we condemn them. It might be the next 4, or it could be another 4s.

Well you are right on that one. I'll see how it will look in person, cant judge a book by its cover ;):)

Hope this is true as I love that new slate/gunmetal color. Just can't bring myself to get white and I am a bit tired of solid black!

Really excited now.

Sept 10 reveal.
Sept 13 order.
Sept 20 delivery.

This is good.

I know a lot of people that wanted the black iPhone 5 with a more natural, lighter aluminum metal housing. This looks a lot closer to that.

I wonder if Graphite and Gold will only be available for higher capacities at a higher price point? (Sort of like the Black Macbook back in the day).

6 colors for the iPhone C, 4 for the iPhone S. It seems a bit much for Apple. But not entirely without precedent.

Have the newer iPhone 5's been better with this? I have a launch day 5 in Slate and it has silver aluminum shining all over the beveled edges. I was hoping they got better after a couple of months.

If not, this might be a good alternative.
