Any thought that the 5C might be customizable? Meaning you could take it into the store and swap out the back cover for a another color? Even change button colors around? The look of the 5C plastic case sort of makes me think it might be easy to pop on and off. Case cracks, they just swap it out in store maybe.

White rendering: looked pretty cool.
All other color renderings: pretty horrible.

Here's hoping the finished product launches with colors totally different than all the renderings going around.

You're kidding right? There's a reason why we see leaks right before a device is about to be announced/released...

Leaks mean mass production and mass production means it's bein made. Since it's being made then that means we WILL be seeing these colors...

I mean come on.... As if Apple would do that though??? The only way i see swapping the back, is for what $60 for a colour change everytime?

Oh no the horror! Colors! Colors are ugly, they are for women and children! /sarcasm

maybe iPhone 5C means iPhone 5 Children's edition.

Really.

Hey Apple. Just b/c the phone is cheaper doesn't mean you have to make it look cheap.

Who would pay $450 something that looks like a some plastic junk at the bottom of a toddler's toy bin?

What the hell is going on at Apple? Really. Even the Mac Pro is Plastic Fantastic now.

:apple:

iPhone 5C....made for 10 year olds that want iPhones. Comes preloaded with Disney games, and Angry Birds.

Some (scratch that, a lot) of 10 year olds do have iPhones, but use it for school stuff. Or iPod Touches.
Hell, when I was 10, I had an iPhone 3G.

Prediction

MSRP: $399
Under contract: $99
3rd party launch day specials: $49

Do you people seriously think that Apple would released an iPhone version that looks premium only to sell it for less? Give them some goddamned credit.

Everyday i hate and hate these Leaks.....

Is this some sort of strategy by Apple..... They need to control their workers

and I thought Apple security on pre-release components was suppose to be even tighter each year. It's one picture after another now

Mac Pro plastic? You should check your sources...

Huh, I had no idea. It looks like plastic. I guess the only thing the alu-mini-um will accomplish in this case is to make it more scratch prone.

:apple:

For you, there is always a reason to be negative (oh, its made of plastic! ah no, its aluminium, now its going to get scratch!)

Yep, be careful with it. Never put your aluminium mac pro in your pocket when you left the keys in...

How many %^& comments one has to read a day??

The curve edges and polycarbonate together help deflect fall angles and soften the impact. We'll see if the work bears any proof to the design when the phone debuts.
