I guess I'm one of the only ones that sees the value in "mixing things up" sometimes. This will sell a lot of iPhones, just watch. Most of you seem concerned about Apple releasing a product that you don't like. . . very odd. As long as they release products that you
do want, what is your problem? I seem to remember Apple consumers making fun of the MacBook Air when first released.
How dare Apple release a product I don't think I would use or wish to be seen with or I believe is below them!
Get over it.
Here are the simple truths as I see it:
1. Apple saw a market for this product.
2. They will spin this up and drive a huge ad campaign behind it.
3. A lot of people will buy this product.
4. Spring of next year there will be Galaxy S5s with the same color schemes.
5. All of you who buy the 5S or develop iOS apps will benefit from the larger iPhone userbase.
Personally, I love the shape. I miss the curved edges and thought the iPhone 4 brick style was a bit annoying, I never really complained though I just got cases.
I think I will get the white or black but the blue looks kinda fun.
I know a lot of girls who would love to have a red, pink, or candy green iPhone. Giving consumers options is a very good practice. These will probably sell, a lot. Watch.
