This was achieved by slowly increasing up to the max 25x zoom and keeping it as steady as possible and in focus (not easy) turning down the exposure slightly until the moon surface isn’t blown out.

I find It works best when it’s not completely dark in the sky.

Some post processing to remove noise around the moon as it’s just digital zoom past 5x telephoto lens.
 
Looks a lot better than your previous effort since the one earlier looked out of focus, no offense. I presume you take your initial shots in RAW prior to post-processing?
