Still waiting on my wife's confirmation for Michigan Ave in Chicago. That's a huge store, so it's no surprise it's taking longer.

I got scared. The first thing I looked at when i got my email was the date and I saw 9/28, got pissed off for half a second thinking they delayed my pick up time.

Realized soon after it was my pick up range and was relieved.
 
Just received a confirmation email from Apple. My iphone is ready for pickup at the Grand Central Apple store tomorrow.
 
It is nice that they are allowing people a week to pickup.

Got my pickup email as well. Anyone know the earliest time we can go to pick them up?

In my particular situation I didn't want to upgrade my line, I still have unlimited data. I used my wife's line to purchase an iPhone for full price. Since its under her number I don't want them to activate and kill service on her phone while she is at work. I just want to be able to swap my sim into the new device.

Then just explain that BEFORE they get your phone.
 
Didn't get the email, checked on the website and it says mine are ready for pickup as well, it says to pickup by September 28th!
 
Between the commuters coming out of the subway, metro north and people lining up for the phone. Grand Central will be a freaking mad house. I'm planing to pick up my phone around 3. Before the afternoon rush.

I ordered an iPhone with a wireless account. Who can pick it up?

If you’ve ordered an iPhone with a new line, the primary account holder on your wireless plan must pick it up. The primary account holder is the person whose billing information is linked to the wireless plan.

If the iPhone is an upgrade for an existing wireless account, it can be picked up by the account holder or by a person authorized by them. Contact your wireless carrier to authorize people on the account.

ordered a new line and an existing line. i am authorized but i do not live with my parents (name on bill and address are different) really hope they aren't strict about this...

I have unlimited data from the first iPhone ... and I'M upgrading! No loss of unlimited data!
