How would the Space Black steel version look with a black leather loop? Can anyone do some photoshops to give an idea? I'm considering to purchase it and get an extra leather strap. Since I like to wear my watch loose during the regular day, I don't think a metal bracelet will be suitable when it comes time to work out. However, if I get the leather loop, I can loosen during the day and tighten when working out without having to switch bands.
The thing about DLC is that it doesn't scratch as easily, but if you wear this watch daily, eventually it will scratch or you'll get a nick in the case and when that happens it will be very obvious because it will show the silver SS underneath. With non DLC you can easily polish that out but with DLC you're out of luck. I've been a Panerai collector for 17 years and have never seen one with DLC THAT didn't have scratches or dings but for that brand they aren't out of place because they're tool watches, the apple watch, not so much.

Still holding out as the only SS model I like is the black...... and no way I'm paying that right now. Wife is done with pharmacy school here in 2 months and she already has a job lined up so maybe we won't have to wait very long for those SS watches after all BUT..... we'll wait at least a year to see if it will be a yearly upgrade.... IF it's seems it will be 2 or more we'll most likely get them on or around the anniversary date.

Me too. If I ended up getting one I would get the Space Black SS and a spare white sport band.
Given it is not possible to buy the SS SB without the matching link bracelet, or indeed buy the link bracelet on its own (e.g. to pair with a SG Sport) - does anyone think it may be possible to sell both parts separately for more than the original cost of the watch?
I'm getting one anyway (and will not be selling any part of it!), as it is undoubtedly my favourite, but this whole thread just got me curious.

You realize you'll have to buy it with the link bracelet first and then buy the black sport band separately, right?
The space black Watch only comes with the link bracelet. Any other band must be purchased separately.

I was looking at purchasing the Space Black Version but just looked at the price and OUCH! £949 :O think I will have to go with a sport or SS version as can't justify spending that much on an Apple Watch to just have black SS

I was set on a SS before the pics...... That's the problem with Apple giving me so much time to decide.
I'm so indecisive with this damn watch and now Im wanting to spend my whole tax return on the black SS watch. It just looks so amazing.I THINK I'm going with the black one. Tht price tag though

Im so torn between the two!! I love the SB SS, but in some photos it looks way too dark and then in some, it appears to be a bit lighter sort of like a graphite color. Hell, I may pre-order both on the 10th, go to the store that afternoon to check them out and then decide on which one to cancel
