Hi all .. are these skins providing any shock resistance to the iPad ?
They sure look pretty thin. My guess is they look pretty & are able to withstand scratching...
Are there any skins available to suppress impact ?

True. It is a skin that adds design and better than putting a clear shield

Black Powder Coated versus the Smooth Stealth - Matte

Can anyone comment on the texture of the powder coated versus the stealth? Is one closer to the feel of the iPad aluminum back, or is one more grippy than the other?

I like the antibacterial powder coated matte black better than the antibacterial smooth matte black.

Both are beautiful by Sticker Boy

powder is resistant to scuffs and scratches
smooth is super matte but can scratch easily, requires care

powder looks similar to those universal fitness machines and tread mills,
very fine texture, (maybe because I'm at the gym every day)

3D carbon

The iCarbon carbon fiber feels textured.

Hey are you undercover and forgot to change your screen name to Roflc0pter?

When I asked Roflc0pter is that 3D carbon, you answered. I thought you can only have one screen name here?

And that picture is the same one as in the other thread because I can see the red stem of the apple logo is installed over the

black 3D carbon at approximately 10:00 to 11:00 o'clock . I might be a fitness diva but my other profession is photography. I can clearly see it. Am I wrong men and ladies?

For the iPad 2 it's the Type 1 (wifi model). They have the same fit for the 3G model, it's called Type 2.

You guys are screwing me up with all these photos!

I just ordered a bunch more with the 'ipadskins' discount code. I figure I'll keep a couple for myself and sell and install the rest for friends/coworkers. Everybody keeps asking me about the skin I recently installed.

Sorry guys. Don't worry. I'm confusing the heck out my self too. I'm gonna try the type 4 hybrid version. It suppose to be a mix of type 1 and type 3. And I'll try that easy extreme. So sticker boy has 6 different types.

I like the black ipad 1. Looks very industrial.

I just installed this on my girlfriend's iPad 3. It's called Graphite Brushed. Sorry I'm not a good photographer. I took the picture outside for better lighting but you can't even see that the apple is silver metal.

Sorry for the silly question, but are you easily able to remove these skins if you see the iPad in the future, etc?
Does it leave residue, etc if removed?

Anyone?

Thank you so much for the pictures.
Does Graphite brushed has brown tint or it is more black?

I got two of the extreme fit (antimicrobial smooth black & carbon graphite) and it is definitely harder to install than my iPad 2 regular fit skin. I couldn't get the corners perfect so I left the skin on and put my shell cover on over it. After a couple of days I figured that I'd try to reinstall the skin. Wouldn't you know, the shell helped lay down those corners quite a bit. Not perfectly but enough that I'm going to leave the skin on and the cover off.
Maybe the carbon or other textured skins are easier to install but installing the smooth black was about 30 minutes of frustration trying to get those corners to lay down. Nothing looks better than the extreme fit if you can get the install right.

Apple freakk, do you know how to order the easy extreme fit or was it just a one off? Maybe we have to wait longer.....it looks great!!

Also do you think you could post a close up pic of the corner slices? Only if it's not too much trouble...I can't find any pics as it's just new. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: never mind, they've just updated their website since yesterday!!!
