looking at all these fantastic photos, my x photos arent good at all , half out of focus, noise, blurring, over exposed etc :(, spoke to support to no avail, i read some X cameras are dodgy, best idea to get a replacement? updated to 11.2 still the same..

superclear!is this taken on the official app or thirdparty?

This is taken with the offical app, no editing done at all, completely untouched. I was amazed! The camera app automatically did HDR and the quality and on board processing is much better than my previous device (7 Plus).

Some photos since I’ve had the X, and some recent snow.

The artificial bokeh looks bad. They are on to something with it for making photos look more professional, but they aren't quite there yet. Notice how the edges of the guy sitting are blurry. It almost looks like the effect they used to use in movies for simulating a dream sequence.

Other than that, the photos look good.
1) it’s not artificial. That’s what Google does in their pixel (use software to fake it). Apple doesn’t have the greatest lens for it, but they legitimately do it.

2) Glass is the most difficult object for a machine to determine the edge of, given the light pass through.
