Very nice. Out of curiosity, what is the scanner used?
Thanks. It's a Nikon Super Coolscan 4000. This one was tricky to scan because of slight warping of the slide. I'll have to try again because the Coolscan can deliver really good results.

Freebooter this is a great picture. I generally open the picture of the day to start my day. And this morning I was started at by a dozen dead angry fish.
What a way to start the day. Thanks!

While a college of art and design SHOULD have fancy, stylish buildings, this building just makes it look like the college has too much money for their own good...

They do. It costs an average of $37,000 a year to go here, and the president is paid $2.5 million annually.

They are expanding, there's a campus in Atlanta, Georgia, and Lacoste, France. Soon also London and NYC, and I think Singapore?

Dude, freebooter...man, I love your photos! Every day they consistently KICK my butt, and today I feel like I got a double kick.
Also, those HDR shots? brilliant! I'd love a HDR of the DMZ!

These turtles live under a bridge I cross every day on the way to class. There must be 25 small ones like these, and a huge one, five times their size. Also, giant fish.

That's a cool shot. The floating dragonflies add a nice touch.

This fence is next to the temple I posted pictures of earlier. It shows the tile and style of traditional Korean buildings.

False Fall

At first I thought these leaves were already changing color (autumn), but as I got closer I saw they had been painted with some of that glowing orange warning paint.

I like that one. Incongruity/deception is always a good theme.
In the Lord of the Rings movie, they used stuff like mustard powder to create a false fall.

great shot must of been hard to get, what camera/lens/flash did you use if you dont mind me asking?

It was an absolute nightmare, but some of the most fun I've ever had with a camera. I was up to my waist in the water with these kitesurfers flying right past me and over my head. I was shooting completely blind but some of the results were alright.:)

I was using 350d + 50mm f/1.4 + 430ex
