Actually Orange is the carrier in France, T-Mobile (Deutsche Telekom) is in Germany. :)

But that guy isn't in Germany, he's in the UK because his wireless router is called "BeBox" which is the default SSID of the router than the UK's Be Internet give you free. (www.bethere.co.uk) - I should know, I'm connected to one right now.

Thus for it to be on T-Mobile in the UK, it would also have to be unlocked from O2, who are the exclusive carrier over here.

You speak English... Not American :)

Ethnocentrism at its best, man. Nipz, by the sound of this guys intelligence, he is probably one of the people that believe these photos are real.

exactly, i dont remember the last time my camera defied logic

fake is fake, if theres something to discredit it then there you go

What logic is being defied? The reflection looks good to me, it's reflecting the envelope, which is clearly in the picture, and not something that a photoshopper would naturally think of putting there. In fact, just think about it, why would someone photoshop the device into the picture at all? That's WAY much work. If someone is faking it, it's much more likely they would put a *normal* iPhone in there, take a picture of everything, and then photoshop how the iPhone's case looks.

I say this is real expect for the damn size of it and the camera thing.

Who knows, tomorrow!

for me, the reflection just doesnt add up.

anyway the phone doesnt look right either, white front black back? not apple esque at all

Fake!!!

If you download the photo with the iphone lying at the bottom of the box and open it with Textedit, you will see this:

wow, thats some real haxxor **** there. way to go :)

...though Photoshop could have been used to put the "www.web..." watermark on the photo, right?

Yea the water would be done through PS.

Need the original without the watermark please :)

just some thoughts..

i've read the translations of the web-mobile pages, and the way it is worded, seems like the back of the phone is a DIFFERENT phone than the one that the front is..

1 - photos 1 and 2, boxed and open, the box shows the silvery cover, so does the open phone.. however, the camera on the front, does look 'shopped.. the reflection IMO is ok, and is the envelope...

3 - the back of the phone is plain black, and the web page says

And the back of the iPhone, in another variant!
Et du dos de l'iPhone, dans une autre variante

so, they are saying it is a DIFFERENT iphone to the first one...

we'll find out monday, less than 24 hours away.... it'll be interesting, put it that way... if the silver fronted one is the white one, and the black one, could be black on the front...

oh, and an iphone and the cd argument.. well.. i placed my iphone on a flat surface, and a cd near it, and that does look believeable... the iphone is same height as the cd, but narrower... so, that again, could be believable..

just thoughts..

pic says it all, that discoloration!

and NO its not a silver ring around the camera

Heh, don't know about this either. I don't like it that's for sure. I won't even buy it if it looks like that.

I only use photoshop to resize pictures.

This picture is good. Yea... ok, discoloration in the form of a perfect circle.

This is look like it is it. Still confused on the size of it though.

comon now, isn't it so easy to make a ring around the 'fake' camera. to make it look less prominant and also blur it out so u cant really see.

Ok, well then you can discredit every real photo in the world that has this wether it is real or not.

The discrediting of the photo in this manner is a matter of opinion... not fact.

If your going to discredit the photo and call it a fake or just a redone old iphone do it like this.

Look at the back of the phone in that picture. It looks exactly the same as an old style iphone. It does not look even close to the picture they posted showing the back.
