I really like how you kept the stock wheels and look, it's perfect. The only reason i'm staying away from those early S4's are that the turbos have issues, and they can be expensive. YOu fixed that by just putting new bigger ones in.

Yes sir. I just replace the stock turbos with stock turbo's from a RS4. It screams. I had 98k miles on the car before I went stage 3. I never had any issues with turbos failing. But a lot of had. I am knocking on wood now.

either apr or giac, both dealers are relatively close to me but I'm leaning towards apr for the adjustable programs through the cruise control stick. I was talking to the giac dealer though and he showed me a dyno of his 06 with just chip and a Evoms intake and he was pushing 230 hp / 250 lbs to the wheels which is pretty damn impressive.

Of course he's putting a K04 on there now with a custom r32 exhaust and all that fun stuff haha.

Not that I'm trying to butt in or anything... but you should look out for everything. Rover's are not cheap vehicles to maintain, and many have little nagging issues that is standard with british vehicles. I'm sure Erik will give you a long list of what could go wrong, even though his current Disco has been good so far.

I have a Rover too. I have a 98 Disco LSE... I should post some pictures up. Some quick things that come to mind are: stay away from 03 Discos. If you're looking for a Disco, purchase a certified 04. An extended warranty will REALLY come in handy. If you're looking at a Rover without one, look into a warranty from Warranty 4 Wheels. I have a warranty on my 98 Disco. You can really be burned with repairs if you aren't technically inclined and don't have a warranty. Also, you need to really decide if you want to be driving a vehicle that needs at least middle octane gas and gets, if lucky, 13 mpg. It's not rare for me to get 10 mpg, with labor rates that are increasing (at least at my LR dealer).
