1990 VW Jetta Coupe (cammed 1.8l 8V engine currently)

The wheels in this picture are currently on my 83 GTI, and the Jetta is equipped with 1990 Jetta GLI 16v BBS wheels. I have both a 1.8t and a 2.0L 16v engine in storage, I haven't decided what to put in this car yet.

2000 Passat 1.8t.

Going for simple OEM+ in the looks department on this car. Bought it new in 2000 and not looking to buy an other new car for a long time (no payments is nice, and still looks good to me). Currently has just under 230 wheel HP, and over 173,000 miles. Been a really good car, and seems to age well.

Okay, that point .2 of a difference is nothing... The Stig could have eaten a small sandwich...

That's not the point. The STI is still a faster car, even if it is a .02 of a second difference. Not to mention the STI is miles cheaper than a comparable Evo.

Cummins Turbo Diesel Power

And it gets 19mpg!

2007.5 Dodge Ram 3500
6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel (350hp/625lbs tq), 6 speed manual, 4 x 4 1 ton! Love this beast!

My wife drives the 2003 Jeep GC 4 X 4

You should be able to get better millage out of that Cummins. You should look into Banks Power Package or other Diesel power packages. Also should look into Propane injection, lots of extra milage to be gained. Also most importantly power!

I've thought about it, but I want to wait until the warranty is up.

Makes since, I know a friend of mind is getting about 25 MPg on his Dodge Cummins 2500 with a 6 Inch Lift and 35's. It's a beast, but I strongly recommend getting a new transmission (Dodges weak link).

That's my car......I call her Lola, because of the Red Light District color she has.
After I bought my MBP I slapped the two apple stickers on her, to style her up!:D

Just got her last week. It's my dream ride, a 1997 Lexus LX450. Now I've just gotta wait 4 years til it's paid off and I can start modifying it!

You do know that that car is just a Toyota Land Cruiser with Toyota crossed out and Lexus written over it? You could probably have saved a bit of money just buying the LC.

Still a great car though :D

Oh yeah, it's got better leather, better sound and the guys at ih8mud say it came with pink panties.:D

It's also got the factory lockers and the previous owner replaced the softer Lexus springs with LC springs for a tighter ride. I need to lose the grill guard on it but I just got it last week so hopefully in due time...

The Lexus and the LC are both priced very similar these days, many times the Lexus is cheaper because not many realize it's a LC. I got a great deal on it and couldn't be happier with it so far. I know it's gonna take some upkeep, but I plan on keeping it for the long haul...

Still a great car though :D

Thanks!:)

My mum owns this car, though it is a 1998 model (1.8t). I found it is pretty low on power with a big flat spot in the middle of it's RPM range, although I don't notice any turbo lag; it seems pretty linear.

Is yours 230hp atw? That seems pretty high compared to the stock figure of 148hp. What mods have you done?

Tahoe's are great trucks too, though I prefer the last generation styling and interior setup. However, If I had extra money to blow I'd buy a used Escalade. The '02-'06's are becoming extremely cheap.

Yep, I am looking at a few. To me the 02-06 feels more and looks like truck. That is very important in an SUV, if you ask me.

Some more pleasant photos taken of the new car. :) Since then I got blackline tail lights, black emblems, black grille (as opposed to the stock chrome), and tinted the windows.
