Good old jaguars. I really love the new XK series. They look much like Aston Martins.

I am referring to JBazz with an 07 Jaguar XK8 Gold. I would rather own and drive an Aston Martin then this Jag, the Aostin Martin V8 Vantage MSRP is $113,400 (US) (Convertible or Coupe). I would gladly buy one of these used, so I can ride in an Aston Martin.

Edit: JBazz no offense, your car is very nice and allot nicer then mine. But why a Jag?

The 2008s certaily lost the "WRXness" so for 2009 they're going to be the sold as the Impreza GT. The 2009 WRX is supposed to be sharper and an a better drivers car all around.

Everyone knows the Evo is faster.

I have this friend who had one just like that only bubble gum blue - I always ragged him about Evos being better (purely to get him going). It was an ongoing argument. Mind you, I have no idea since I've driven neither.

Evo faster? Pah! Take a look at the Top Gear power board. The new Evo X was 1:28.22, the STI was 1:28:2. Not much of a difference, but the STI was faster nevertheless. Not only that, but it costs a lot more than the STI.

Because I have always loved the long lean form of Jaguars. It is my daily driver. An Aston Martin is out of my price range to begin with, but even if it had the same price tag as my XK there would still be issues with reliability, servicing, insurance and parts.

IMHO, Astons arent exactly daily drivers unless you live a very privileged life style (parking garages at work, et al).

But he should have gotten the Aston Martin, that's the real drivers car.

Makes since, at least your happy with it. I can say the lease for my car, another couple of years I should be able to buy a nice sports car!

played on the 'tex maybe... but I personally don't see many mk1s or 2s with cups or rms with kodiacs outside of vortex or shows..

I actually cancelled my room at quality inn beachfront on Monday... moneys too tight... have fun though... h2o is always a blast!

Sure the evo is faster than a stock wrx, but my car isn't stock...

I like the feel of the subaru much more than the evo, but the evo motor can be modified much easier than the subaru. It's all personal preference and they are both great cars.
