It seems obvious... but in general, for the best photos, avoid shooting into crazy light.. even if Smart HDR ‘fixes’ some of it you likely lose detail/color in other areas... and press the ‘shutter’ as softly as you can

Visited Sedona last fall and loved it. We hiked up Bear Mountain and made it back down. Phewwwwww.

Awesome! Bear is one of my favorite hikes here. It was a brutal winter and summer and now things are finally cooling off here right on schedule. Fall is definitely the best time to visit :)

This was taken with a Blackberry Pearl over ten years ago.

People that spend $1500 a year on a phone camera are interesting.

Is there a reason why you keep trolling this thread? Nobody cares about your opinion that upgrading to the 11 is stupid (it's actually a great upgrade for photographers). This a thread for people to share pictures taken with the 11, please let it go.

Additionally you aren't losing that money every year (plus very few people are actually dropping $1500 on any iPhone). I've been upgrading every year for awhile for around $300 a year, which isn't much more than you'd lose in standard depreciation over a longer 2-4 year period. So $300 a year for an amazing little camera that fits in your pocket and provides pictures that provide quality way above it's size should allow isn't a bad deal at all for anyone that has some disposable income and loves photography and documenting their life.

The era of computational photography has begun and I'm sure real camera manufacturers are more worried than they ever have been by its impact on the industry as a whole. Lots of small cameras hooked up to a tiny supercomputer can do some amazing things now. Leveraging your chipset and machine learning tech is going to become just as important as how large your sensor is in the future.

I'm enjoying the camera on the 11PM. I did notice that colors are a little off in night mode, but not too bad.
