Both look great. One thing that is consistent in the comparisons I’ve seen is the iPhone tries to expose more naturally to what the eye sees and just make up for what the sensor can’t capture itself, where the Pixel overexposes to the point that certain details get blown out. Take for example the TJ Maxx/Homegoods sign to the right of the image.

Guys am really confused with camera. Is there any difference when taking a normal picture between 11 pro and 11. I am aware that telephoto is more useful to take pictures closer , but other than telephoto any idea that 3 lens setup is helping to get better photos with Iphone pro during night mode or normal mode ?

Other than the telephoto lens, there are no differences. Bonus points to the Pro though because the tele lens is MUCH improved and also supports Night Mode like the 26mm wide lens.

Won’t spend $1200 on a gimmick night mode that takes low res extremely denoised-to-no-end pictures. By just looking at the sample pics, they are clearly much better lit than the non-night mode ones. But the perceived resolution I’d classify as 4MP at most due to the extremely heavy de-noising. Nowhere even remotely close to 12MP.

totally cool for instagram and social networking kids. But I don’t do that. I like archival photography. So yea...

Exactly. If you are going to print these photos on a billboard...quality is going to be terrible. Or if you are going to compare cell phone cameras with thousands of dollars worth of professional, dedicated equipment there is no comparison.

But it's totally more than what the expectations are as the reviews seem to say at this point.
