Sorry I don’t know how to post a topic. I just sent pics from my 11Pro to my son and daughter via text and they both said they did not come through in very good resolution. Have never had that problem before on previous phones. Do I need to change a setting?

As far as I know, sending pics via text has always reduced their original resolution on the iPhone.
In order to send original non-compressed pics, you need to either airdrop them or send them via email by choosing “send original size”.

I tried the email also at actual resolution and they said it was the same though when I text to my husband, it looked perfect.
 
Is anyone experiencing soft edges on the ultra wide pictures?

Not sure if It’s just a signature of the lense and needing the absolute best light, but some of my detailed images are soft on the edge.

Yes. The ultra wide lens picture quality is definitely softer compare to the reg wide lens.

Would a resolution of 72 pixels be right for pictures being sent by text or email?
