Just spent a wonderful day in the Vatican Museum. During the visit I tried to find some good challenge for my iPhone 11 Pro, playing with exposure within the stock camera. Pretty impressed by the dynamic range and the capacity to keep details in shadowed areas. A huge improvement from my iPhone 8 for sure.

Damn good shots!

If you want to play with lights and shadow or if you are trying to get a dramatic effect on your shots, night mode is not ok. It creates a kind of hdr effect on all the picture, flattening shadows and highlights, you can get a lot of light, but the overall effect is pretty flat, i don't like it.

Playing with lights and in general with the exposure is very pleasant on 11 Pro, try it!

So if I’m understanding this correctly, night mode only works on the main camera and not the ultra wide or the Tele photo right?
I believe so.
I couldn’t activate night mode in ultra wide mode
