For folks who bought these cases: Did you also look at the Lewlater options? They seem very similar and I believe Lew’s ones are a bit cheaper.

Does anyone use a magsafe stand with pitaka air? Does it hold strongly? Would you recommend it for a magsafe car charger?
yeah i have tried the air case with the belkin car mount and it fell off while driving so, for amu car mount if you want to use it with magsafe i wouldnt unless you are using a actual magsafe case or it just isnt strong enough. maybe with the 12 or 12 mini it would work with the air but the max is to heavy.

Yea, I know there was a bunch of controversy there. That’s why I’m curious to hear from actual customers. They both seem nice and are well-reviewed.

I like these pitaka cases. Would removing the case as I gather we need to remove the case weekly to clean the phone from dust as these might scratch the stainless finish, would doing so scratch the finish as the pitaka cases are hard case?

I can't see any scratches!

I use the bel-kin 3-in-l MagSafe Pitaka case on my 12 mini , no issues with charging at all. I’m also using it eith a 3rd party MagSafe compatible portable 5000mah charger too.

Well it’s not about choice but quality but more importantly customer experience in both using the product AND customer service ~ have a search with my name on these forums with Pitaka and see my first hand experience. I’m most happy and will continue with this brand. Products are too quality but customer experience even admitting own own mistake was 1000% beyond my hopes or expectations- not many company’s get that from me - having worked in customer service an I.T. For 24yrs.

I don’t need to remove my air case weekly as it not the dust beneath it affects my iPhones finish in any way. Wearing it 3wk rotation since October in jeans or khakis to/From work groceries walks in park. Brwive dropped it from 3.5ft on parkay wood floor not a dent/scratch And it landed in the bottom left corner. Full protected.

I’m thinking about picking up one of these , has anyone tried putting a skin of some type along the open areas of the case to give some scratch protection?

I got a question for those who own a pitaka air. Do the smudges, fingerprints etc. wipe off easily?

Reason i am asking is because i got a few black silicone, tpu etc. cases and completely removing smudges from them is near impossible.

I know pitaka is a completely different material but i read it has a rubbery feel to it and that it does collect smudges. So, do smudges wipe off completely easily?
