No - even though I buy full price it's mainly because it works out cheaper over two years and gives me the flexibility of not being tied to one network.

In some ways, I like upgrading every two years as it makes my next phone seem a much bigger jump - e.g. Touch ID on my 6 Plus and Siri on my iPhone 5.

I eagerly await the iPhone 7 Plus...

I will skip the 6s Plus however it remains TBD if I'll go for the 7 or 7s. Probably the 7 Plus but we'll see. I like being on the number cycle as it brings in the new design which has improvements over the last design; ie the rounded edges of the 6/6 Plus and the bigger display overall.

Like someone said up there it won't be a phenomenal upgrade. Wait for another model! - who knows 7 will probably be similar again.

As the 6+ is crippled by the lack of RAM I'll be upgrading mine to the 6S, if not before. If Apple had given me two or three gigs of RAM then I would keep my 6+ for two years. Sadly they didn't.

I'm right there with you. If the new one has double memory and faster ram plus better front and rear camera then 1000% will upgrade immediately. The reloading/crashing drives me insane.

Yes I will be getting the 6S, 7, 7S, etc.

With the way carriers have set things up now it makes no sense not to.

- I paid $100 upfront for my 6 Plus
- in 10 months I'll have a remaining balance of approximately $439 on the phone
- Based off past trends I expect to be able to sell my 6 Plus for $450-500
- Use that money to pay the remaining balance and then head over to Apple and get the 64GB 6S Plus for $100 upfront again.
- Rinse and repeat each year.

That is so true. Even getting on things like jump/next make sense. You can have a new phone every year for ~$30 a month.

Usually they sell their phone for a decent price for demo purposes we will use a conservative estimate and say $550 for iPhone 6 64GB in August 2015. New phone will be $800-850 so you only pay $300 to upgrade. For someone who likes tech, $300 vs. $850 is a steal.

Even on contract you can normally get your new phone paid for is you have revolving upgrades that can be used every year.

Oh absolutely my i6 is already paid off and when the 6s comes out i'll just use my JUMP option. Love T-Mobile.

Yeah well I doubt that you even notice the lack of more ram on your phone... I don't have an issue. My iPhone 6 plus has never struggled with any of my apps or multiple website tabs.

Lol. I notice the lack of RAM multiple times per day.

Yep! I upgrade every year. I used to just sell my old iPhone and buy the new one at retail price. The price difference was usually a couple hundred, same as buying one on contract. Now with the Edge program, it should be even easier to upgrade early.

It's a very common issue and multiple people are affected by it.
