I know I saw this on my twitter feed about an hour ago. I was annoyed but it isn't my thing, it looks a good time killer but I wouldn't get hooked on it.

That's a fX$kr for those that paid €5.99 only a fortnight ago....

oh and i see it's US only... Well never mind then :D

Thanks for the input guys! Much appreciated, I'll be getting a Vita this weekend :D I too like many of you, am a gamer so having a portable system is just another type of experience :) I'm sure i won't be disappointed. Cheers!

Only the Vita version is free. You don't get the PS3 version as that is $10 to buy. Here we pay £4.79 which is less then the $10 equivilant but we get both versions.

Unit 13 is out tomorrow, correct?

In the US yes but not in the UK. The UK release is this Friday apparently.

MRU said it was 5.99 which is 9.4468 USD. The PS Plus price here is discounted, PSN Games
MotorStorm RC – 3/6 (PS Plus Price: $7.49), Free to Vita users.

if $4.79 is your PS Plus price then its 7.5543 USD.

It's all about the same wherever you go, the only deal on MS RC is the US getting it for free on the Vita because of a Scion advertising deal. I believe US also got a PSN game free from a deal with Sprint a year or so ago.

£4.79 is the normal price on the UK store and not the Playstation Plus price. I'm not a Playstation Plus member. this makes it cheaper to buy both versions for that price here as opposed to just the PS3 version for $10 in the US. If you want both versions then its a better deal here in the UK. Not everyone is a member of Playstation Plus so your reference to the Playstation Plus price is not really valid.

Haven't been able to find motor storm rc on the PS Store?

It's pretty easy to spot.. big Scion ads all over the place. At least on the US store.

If you use the US store (you never specified which store) you might need glasses since its pretty darn clear where it is in the US store.

LOL. I see it now. They must have just updated it. Thanks though!

I've started playing my 3DS recently, definitely makes me want to pick up a PS Vita.

Gotta love some hardcore handheld gaming!

Monster Hunter Portable 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Nights, Tales of Innocence R and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for PlayStation Vita
Have been leaked by Play.com!

Each of those games I will have. GTA and Monster Hunter have me very excited :).

Avoid Lego Harry Potter on PSVita, it's a port of the PSP/DS title - not the superior console version. It has lots of poor quality encoded fmv and the frame-rate is a lot to be desired on such a basic looking title.

I got a couple questions if you all don't mind. I'm transitioning to portable consoles and getting rid of my PS3.

I've been hearing a lot about remote play from the PS3, is that just for PSP and PSone classic games? And a future update is suppose to let you install those games directly onto the Vita, correct? I just want to make sure I'll be able to download and install the games I've bought onto the Vita at some point without the PS3.

Does Playstation Plus add any benefits to Vita ( cloud saves, stuff like that )?

Then I have the dilemma of really really wanting to play Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Crisis Core, but those aren't available on PSN ... so I'm thinking I might just start out with a PSP, play those games and then get Vita in a few months.

So far remote play works on PS1 games. I'm unaware of any other games that currently work (I'd like to know too!). They haven't announced anything but of course they'll be adding PS1 support to the Vita, there are loads of PS1 games and it's "money for old rope". I just hope they add PS2 support too.

Things i'd like to see in the next update;

-Speed up wake up from sleep time
-Speed game loading (i mean we are using flash memory here...no reason to be slow)
-Quick access toWiFi/BT/Brightness toggle switches in the LiveArea (Maybe add a notification style button to the top left)
-Skype
-Add Battery percentage indicator
-Improve multitasking i.e. allow up to 3 apps to run simultaneously
-General performance enhancements and bug fixes
-Improve battery life further
-Add HTML5 support to browser

On the hardware side i sometimes wish this thing had DualShock but i suppose that would be a battery suck. Maybe when Vita Slim debuts.

Oh and for the love of all things sacred stop selling a digital distribution game for £40 and £45...it just rude and stupid. In fact all the games in the store need to drop by £10-£20.

On top of those things I'd like-

-Sub pixel rendering on the main menu. The jaggies are really noticable. The shop app has sub pixel rendering, why not add that to the screen you see all the time?
-Settings, Photo, Music and Video (especially) to not be apps, but part of the main UI itself. The original PSP was sooo much quicker in this regard.
-Sleep mode downloads. Interestingly the system will continue downloads if it goes to sleep itself (leave it on for a few minutes), but not if you go to sleep mode by pressing the power button.

Physical changes I'd like in the slim model-

- The wrist strap handle looks hideous underneath. It's like a prototype product.
- The underneath of the slot covers are also horrible.
- The grey band isn't as nice as the PSP's silver band.
- Start and Select buttons are rivalled with the 3DS's Start and Select buttons for worst buttons ever invented.

I don't think it's as elegant as a PSP 3000. But the dpad is the best dpad in the whole world.
