iOS 7 GM is the same build as the final release

I'm sure this isn't surprising to most people.

However it's a little disappointing … I had a few bugs with the GM on iPhone 5; stuff like when I was trying the dictation in messages, it wouldn't allow me to press the dictation button unless I closed & reopened the app. Nothing earth-shattering, I suppose …

What I'm trying to find out is: even though it's the same build number, is it likely that they've changed anything 'under the hood'? Maybe solved a few bugs? Also, has anybody encountered any bugs with the GM of iOS 7 that hasn't been mentioned?

Nope its the same as the GM. Check the iOS developer centre.

No, the .ipsw file from GM and today's iTunes download are the exact same size.

The 5s and 5c will be on 7.0.1 but so far Apple is pushing 7.0 to all other devices.

This is a definitive answer for all you who are finding out about the GM and the public. They are EXACTLY the same build. I checked my version release (GM) versus my wife's, which I downloaded today through itunes. Nothing is different.

When the new release gets out we will get it as well. So either ios 7.1 or 7.01/2 or whatever it happens to be. itunes will recognize our GM builds just like the publics.

I think they are different

As I understand it, those on GA have access to more than 2 dynamic wallpapers. I am still on GM (without the opportunity to upgrade via my phone - though I can via iTunes) and I only have access to the original 2 dynamic bubble wallpapers.
If these are the same builds, why don't I have more dynamic wallpapers?

You're not on the GM then. What's the build number? (Settings, general, about, Version - should be 7.0 followed by numbers/letters).

11A4449d. I'm really new at this but I've updated each time a new beta came out and now, after general release, when I try to update from the phone, I cannot.

You have beta 6, not the GM. The GM/Public release build is 11A465.

You cannot update from a beta to the GM/Final release over-the-air. When the GM was released, you had to download it from the developer portal and install it through iTunes, there was no OTA update offered.

You must plug into your computer, open iTunes and select update or restore to update to the final version.
