Do some Google searches and see if you can find out about what people prefer in your area. People can talk all they want about "AT&T drops calls" or "Verizon's speed sucks" etc. etc. The truth is that it's extremely dependent on where you are. So do some research and see what people generally have to say about their coverage and speeds in your area.

I'm in Michigan, and I'm getting between 4-5 Mbps on AT&T. I occasionally have a dropped call, but not often enough to bother me. But that doesn't help you at all because you're in FL.

----------

Just because AT&T was bad for you doesn't mean it is for everyone. And not everyone travels a lot. If you only travel once or twice a year, you should get coverage based on what works in YOUR area. If you travel every week, then you'd have a lot more research to do.

thanks!!

It is funny how you ignored my customer service experience with At&t. You can't judge this just by technical specs but the companies as a whole. And as I said before, if you were just stay in YOUR area, then At&t is good enough for YOUR area. Think twice when you travel OUTSIDE your area though. I am sure you won't!

Yes you can if you do the unlimited data trick. I know it still works because i charge people $20.00 each to do it for them

What is this trick you speak of? I have Verizon here in Los Angeles and although reliable, their speeds are not the fastest and spotty. I am considering switching to AT&T but don't want to lose my unlimited data if the iPhone 5 has LTE next year.

You had a bad customer service experience with AT&T. That's fine. I've been with them for about 15 years now, and sure, there's been a few problems along the way. But their people have always been friendly to me and gotten things sorted out, so I'm fine with that. Feel better now that I addressed it?

Apparently you ignored my statement...if you travel, you're going to need to do RESEARCH. There is no one service provider that will be best for everyone. Anyone who says there is is flat out lying. Verizon is apparently good for you, and that's great. But don't tell people that AT&T is awful, because in some places it's great. Just like in some places Verizon is bad, Sprint is bad, etc.

AT&T deff. works best in orlando - trust me.
i can vouch for AT&T in orlando

I have to disagree. I live in Orlando and hated my 2 years with AT&T. I would get sub 1Mbps consistently and would get "call failed" and dropped calls consistently. All the while my wife, with her Verizon Android phone laughing at me as I cursed AT&T.

I'm now back on Verizon and I couldn't be happier. Sure, I don't get 6 or 14.4 Mbps but I do get about the same speeds as I did with AT&T. The difference, much better coverage. And web pages load as fast, if not faster. Hell, I can even load web pages in many more places now since I actually have a signal.

Hi Hater... Does It really Bother You That Bad That I Typed With Caps? Im Lookin For Advice Not A English Teacher To Spank Me On The Wrist About Caps.

You know, I'm just gonna help you out here. Try not to take this offensively, it's just constructive criticism.

Your spelling and grammar are horrible. This is a forum, meaning that the only way people perceive you, is by what you write. If you type like a moron, you are more than likely a reflection of the words that come up on the monitor. Get the picture? Now, this is not to say that people don't often misspell things or use words incorrectly, because that happens. The difference is the effort put into your typing. At least try to put an effort into it, ok?

One of my major negatives about this forum is that this subject is pretty much overlooked. For that being our only way of communication on this site, I find that to be sad.

Back on topic. I suggest you find what works best in your area, and switch. I cannot suggest who to go with, without knowing how the other two perform. As mentioned earlier, AT&T has the speed, and Verizon has the widespread coverage. If Sprint isn't fulfilling your desires, then switch. Just take into account that you will have a limited time to do so before you are penalized for it.
