I'm not sure exactly what happened, but suddenly this weekend I went from going typically ~24 hours max between charges, to this. (20% notification just came on) I'll be thrilled if this keeps up. Especially coming from a Windows Mobile device that was often lucky to make it 8 hours! This was wi-fi on, 3g on, location, and bluetooth off.

Haven't reset my call or data counters since i got it, so I can't really break down minutes, but this is from a lot of 3G web, 2 hours of music, 2 hours video and some calls, and I never got the low battery notify:

okay........

it says time since last FULL charge.

i'm sure some of you are PARTLY
charging your iphones. I'm just
assuming that this thread is
intended for the posting of
'how long my battery lasts with
one full charge" pictures.

but i could be wrong since i didn't
bother to read the whole thing.

If you do not charge your phone all the way up, or if you
"partly" charge it in between, it will say that on the screen.
(see post #16 on this thread for an example)

oh okay.
sorry i grew up a skeptic so usually in person i can
tell if you're talking out of your ass. and it's easier
to type out of your ass online especially because i
can do that, down there, on paint.
but it's harder and worse to make assumptions online.
i just want to get all the facts clear before i buy it
next monday.

sweet, so the iphone can actually hold out that long?
i mean i've been hearing so much about, 'oh the battery
life sucks.'

This result is with WiFi off, 3G off, LS off, and very light usage.

I've never seen 13 hours of usage, as you quote someone in post #80. LOL! I'm not saying it's not possible, though. It all depends on the type of usage. If the phone is turned on (meaning unlocked), but not set to auto-lock and you leave it there, sitting on the homescreen all night long, it will register as usage. For me, now that I've had my phone for 2.5 months, on average, I get about five to six hours of usage in addition to about 24 hours of standby. If I let my phone run all the way down between charges (which I normally do not do), I would probably end up charging it every ~ 24+12=36 hours.
