Well very interesting tracking from Louisville early this morning. It left around 4 AM EDT and got to Decatur Illinois in hour and half? They must have flown it because its 3.5 hours by truck to house (often route my phones take from Louisville) and 4 plus hours to Decatur. It was 1.5 hours from Louisville to Decatur in this tracking so flying appears to be only option. Usually it takes 45 minutes from Decatur to here on interstate at 70 plus (its 58 miles) but it got there at 5:30 and supposedly left a bit past 6 (at least scan of departure was half hour after) but I bet it left faster. It’s here and although normally on truck for delivery and it sits til 9Am it says out for delivery half hour after it got to UPS main hub here in town. Interesting not sure what went on LOL. Even Apple says arrives today and often thats not til on truck for delivery. One other odd note is that never saw customs release in Louisville so the Cleared Customs scan after leaving Korea was not a repeat of Chinese Customs clearance but it was clearance by US Customs and my package then sped through Louisville and then sped here something positive going on not sure what though LOL. Hopefully others will soon have progress and earlier dates in this spread of original 10/6 to 10/11 folks.

NOTE: a few strange things besides the speed of delivery from Louisville and getting here, says out for delivery at 6:30 am? I also do not see the follow the truck option so wonder is this a special truck from Decatur with no tracking? Still says this afternoon so wonder is some tracking goofed up or missing and the usual driver/truck will have it at 9 AM when he leaves the hub. Just a bit strange love/hate being able to track and watch it miss my neighborhood LOL

Apple now shows shipped with a delivery date on the 11th. When I click on the tracking # UPS shows a delivery of the 4th mid to late afternoon. Hopefully UPS is correct. For now I’m cautiously optimistic.
for me, Apple showed 6-11 to begin with and then Oct. 1st and hasn't changed since. On the other hand, UPS initially had delivery set for 9/28; however, my phone didn't leave Zhengzhou until early this morning and now UPS's delivery date matches Apple's of Oct. 1.

finally there’s movement after being stuck for 5 days!
pretty much the exact same for me...mine is now in Incheon set for departure within the hour to AK...I see what appears to be a hurricane southeast of Incheon; so, I hope that doesn't cause any delays. I doubt it will for now because it seems to be a good ways away from Incheon.

Fingers crossed. The storm is a pretty fair distance away.

Yeah....hard for me to tell how far looking at a map...weather in Incheon shows clear skies...hopefully it'll stay that way for everyone who may have phones shipping today....your 2nd photo is easy to see it's pretty far from Incheon. thank you

You look good, that’s pretty far from flight path to Anchorage your phone should be in Louisville tonight similar times as mine left Korea yesterday and now its in town and out for delivery. Once they finally move out of China the are moving fast.

You look good that storm far from the path of plane. You are on similar time frame the first batch followed yesterday from this group. Mine got to Louisville late past midnight and was here out for delivery already which is earliest I have ever seen. Your phone should be here soon maybe for tomorrow like others are seeing now. Good luck

Most likely because usually when a package arrives during the night to Louisville, more than likely they will put it on the plane instead of the truck to ensure that customer gets it the next day. Had it arrived in the morning KY time, after the import scan it would likely get on the truck being that your final destination is Illinois.

Yeah I believe with. My 11 ProMax it almost got delayed by typhoon as it went through Taiwan on way to Anchorage but it made it. It is a crazy time of year for typhoons over there adds more excitement to the journey LOL

Ah thanks wondered what happened most of time it is the normal morning arrival and truck. Figured there was some explanation for that but was not sure.

About the only odd piece is that it says out for delivery in my town at 6:30 am but the local trucks never leave hub til 9AM so I guess the rushed late night/early morning scans must be leaving detail out. I suspect it is really on the truck (I know the regular driver he left my return box for 12ProMax yesterday rather than FedEx this year) and at 9 I will be able to track the truck. The fact that does not show (and I could track the return box yesterday) probably means they have it and put on truck but that usual put on truck scan is currently missing. Overall a bit of odd scans for the first time a phone came late during night/early morning I guess at least its in town.

UPS now shows a 10/1 delivery. I see some movement in China, but that would mean it makes it to Louisville overnight tonight to catch its destination flight.

We’ll see, I won’t hold my breath if Apple says 10/5.

And my trade in kit will be here on 10/1.

One step at a time!
So I’m seeing the same thing. Ups says delivery 10/1 and I see movement in China. But Apple away 10/6.
for others who have been though this what date is the accurate one?

Ok…so when my CC was charged a few days back my UPS delivery date was for 10/1. But this is what I’m seeing. Anyone have any insight to whether or not I’ll see it on 10/1?

Given that this matches the hold pattern at their airport where pallets are gathered from nearby factory complex I would say no. I had this pattern for 9/25 China Time on the early morning of Saturday 9/25 here in Illinois. It took 4 days before it cleared and left and arrived late last night in Louisville and was apparently (because of late time) sent via a plane to the regional hub and is now out for delivery today.

I’m in the same boat and almost exact same timing.

I’ll get my trade in not tomorrow.

But my phone delivery now says check back for the date on UPS while the Apple Store app says 10/5.

When you got the tracking info, what was the date they’d deliver? Did they make that it still late?

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max 256g Graphite that was supposed to be Oct 11-18 delivery. Yesterday got charged and moved to preparing for shipment. Today I wake up to a shipped notice with an Oct 4 delivery. Just now it updated with a departure from ZZ but now UPS says the same thing about checking back tomorrow for updated delivery date. I am hopeful that it means that it is going to be updated to earlier but regardless, I am happy to see movement faster.
