177mm. I have a Kickstarter Pebble and a Pebble Steel and I think they look normal on me. I went with the 42".

Hulk wrist HUGE. Bad for watch, good for SMASH!

Clarify....

203mm

Ordered 42mm SS Space Black w/ Link Bracelet. It's 205mm; I have a typical metal bracelet chronograph that I measured at 206mm (inside). It will fall down over my wrist bone; at other times feel a bit tight. So, I think I'll be ok with the AW link bracelet.

I'll be curious to hear from someone with a similar wrist size who tried on the 42mm link bracelet.

Hi! I have a 204mm wrist and tried on the 42mm SS link bracelet which I did not order initially for fear of not fitting. But I tried it on in the store and it fit perfectly meaning there was just enough slack to fit comfortably and slide a bit on my wrist. So I ordered one to go along with my 42mm SS watch with Classic Buckle.

190mm wrist, surprised at the room I had left with the Milanese and Leather bands

Ordered the 42mm SS/Black Sport band

173mm. I ordered the 42 Sport. I think what most people realize is that there is a pretty wide spectrum in which either version would suffice without looking tacky; it comes down to personal preference.

People that literally post their wrist size and nothing else in this thread - ironically are worse than the people the OP is describing.

Please report your wrist size !!

I have 152mm wrist and still torn between the 2.

I'm leaning on the 38mm because it looks more like a watch than a gadget.

The 42mm looks way too big on you.

I have a 177mm circumference, 62mm width wrist but I just can't go with the 42mm. I think large watch faces are horribly tacky (I appear to be in the minority). It's a watch. I only want as large a screen as is necessary to view small amounts of info when I'm in the middle of something and don't wanna reach for my phone. A 38mm screen will surely suffice.

'Please report your wrist size'....

Seems so much like it was said by an obtrusive big brother government... lol

170mm

OP, I don't see the point of this.

Apple has charts to explain this if you need help.

Those guidelines are extremely conservative. By Apple's chart, the 42mm sport should barely fit; instead I still had a lot of band left.

My wrist is 164cm and the 42mm looks and feels perfect. 38mm is way to small imo. You really need to see it in person which will show you how tiny these things really are. Here's a few pics from my try on sessions earlier today. 42mm Milanese Loop!

I suppose it comes down to personal preference, but this image shows EXACTLY how I want my Apple Watch to look on my wrist. (In contrast to the image in the post above)

I don't want a BIG screen on my wrist. It's not a phone. It's just a watch and as a watch, I believe the band should wrap around the edges of your wrist as it does in the picture. This is why despite reading time after time how perfect the 42mm screen is, I refuse to capitulate and my orders for 38mm watches are staying. (177mm wrist. 62mm width)

I agree. That looks perfect.

That's none of your damn business and I'll ask you to stay out of my personal affairs (got any of that gum, Ace??)

I have a 210mm wrist order 42mm. I tried on ALL band types and they ALL fit with ease no matter what the Apple Sizing Chart says...

Even medium size bands?

Thanks, confirms what I was thinking. I'll stick with 38mm.

Very good! Gonna be a long couple months. Moof!

I have 171 mm wrists with very pointy wrist bones, and I was set on getting the 38 mm case. Once I tried on the 42 mm Apple Watch, I decided it didn't look that large and order the one below.

135mm. I didn't have a choice as the 42mm doesn't have a strap small enough for my wrist so I ordered a 38mm. I had an Apple Watch try on appointment and I would have ordered the 38mm anyway. Even the 38mm is almost too big for my taste.
