Just out of curiosity, do you restore the watch after impairing it or do you set it up as new?

I like OS 3, however battery life is terrible. I take my watch off the charger at 7:30am and wear it all day and place it on the charger at 6am the next day and this has worked fine... with OS 3 I took my watch off the charger at 7:30 am and I got the 10% battery life warning at 7pm at night.
Lets hope this gets better.
Last night I did the unpair, repair, and then restored instead of setting up as new. Battery has been better than it ever was on watchOS 2. So glad someone mentioned doing that and I tried it. Now when beta 2 comes out I hope I don't have to redo the process, but even if I do it's not that bad. Thanks for the help!
I swear on my life! I mean, it's not like I tripled the battery life, but I would say I ended the day with an extra 15% battery life than I usually do.For real? if Beta 2 doesn't come out tomorrow I am definitely going to try this. Thanks for posting man.
It should be saved in a back up that the Watch creates when you are restoring. When you do the unpair and repair, do you lose the data that you've accumulated since getting the watch? I've thought about doing that but worry about losing my achievements, watch face configurations, etc.
If you restore the watch from backup everything should be about the same you had before. If you set up the watch as new you'll lose everything that is on the watch including achievements. When you do the unpair and repair, do you lose the data that you've accumulated since getting the watch? I don't back up my phone to iTunes or via wifi, I just back it up via iCloud. Will that effect anything?
Yeah, because the AW can run apps while the Nano didn't.It only just occurred to me that with the App Launcher, the Apple Watch just introduced the main interface of the nearly 6 year old 6th gen iPod nano.
Amazing How technology progresses![]()

The watch is at times very unresponsive. Will hopefully improve with new betas. Is it just me or is the watch screen not very sensitive? Soooo many times I have to swipe down the notifications a second time because the first time doesn't register. Or I'll tap a complication and I'll have to tap it again because the first time didn't work. Probably my biggest gripe and I'm not sure if it's software related or not.

Worked fine on OS2, so I can't blame the hardware. Next?yup i noticed this too. have to swipe two or three times sometimes for it to register
