Verizon said they had plenty this morning. I was first in line. While the guy was accessing my account, the other sales reps grabbed all the 256gb models (he said they only started with seven). Apparently one of the other people didn’t end up buying the 256gb so I was able to get one phone but I wanted two. He said that had lots of 64gb if I wanted one of those as well. “Plenty” is a vague term.

My local Apple store has decent lines, but they are saying they have "plenty" of phones. What happened to all that scarcity talk? Was it Apple giving a script to the supply chain to give the appearance of scarcity? And the improving shipment times is also odd.

Regent street no 256gb 30’mins after opening but we were never told until top of the queue ie 4 hours queuing

Line at Apple store is now about 250-300 people, was #50 in line but I’m still waiting now almost 10 am. At least I’m getting 2 guaranteed and can’t wait to sell it

My local ATT store still had the space gray 64g in stock when I walked in there around 1230p today.

Take this for what it's worth but an Apple employee told someone near me that none of the Oregon Apple stores had iPhone X's available for walk in.

This sucks. I have an Apple Gift card for my iPhone X and I don't have a store close by at all. My preorder says Dec 1-8, but I could go down and get one right now at AT&T, but they don't take Apple gift cards obviously. This is BS. If the stores have this kind of stock, they should be able to ship us phones from there.

About 150-200 lined up at the Waterloo Apple Store - they only had 40-50 64GB Space Grey. All of the people at the front took two each.

Every Canadian store I've heard of only had about the same number....yet the American stores got hundreds.

All the Apple love is for those in the US.

Makes more sense. American company and America has the highest revenues for Apple.

I waited in line behind around 150 people, and got two phones. By that point they were out of Sprint, but had a few hundred phones left for the other carriers. Looks like everyone who was in line by 8 am will get one today.

So just sell your Apple gift card... you'll take a bit of a hit, but at least get 90 cents on the dollar.

Wanted to touch one before committing, about 75 people in line at local Apple store. I wanted a black 256 Verizon. Checked in with rep, Her first question was “you want one or two”? Just one please, I love the smell of scalper’s tears in the morning ;)

Just walked into Atlantic City Apple store ....plenty available there. Only a few people in line. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Now I need to cancel my online order scheduled to be delivered 11/17-11/24.

At our local Best Buy store they said they had some (did not give a number) but sold out quickly. They said they were backed up into January. So I would say that some have them and some don’t.

Apple Michigan Ave store, there were at least 300-400 people lined up and staff were saying that the line would not even hit half of what they had in the back.
What do you mean? That they have way more stock than people in line or vice versa?

It is a trick from Cook to make you preorder.

People complain when availability was low and they couldn’t pick up a phone. They complain when there is availability and they can pick up a phone.

Personally, I was able to walk into an Apple Store at 10am and pick up an AT&T 256. Verizon ones were all gone, but I wanted AT&T anyway. It depends on how picky you are with carrier/color/capacity. In previous years, there were more options, so chances of getting your exact carrier/color/capacity were lower.

Yeah....I walked in at lunch and my local store had not sold out of a single model.

All still in stock at our store too (as of 1330 MDT), and the store was eerily quiet (maybe because non-iphone customers thought the store would be swamped all day). Those ebay buyers might want to cancel their bids.

Just tried to go to the Apple store at Willowbrook mall in Houston TX, no luck. They had no models available. Still waiting on my preorder is suppose.. Happy hunting everyone!

I live 15 minutes from there. Hopefully I will be able to get one haha.

In the UK, my nearest Apple store is in the historic city of Bath and the Apple store is small. Around 100 people queued up today and the first 50 or so got phones. The rest were given times to come back later in the day. No shortages in the uk from what i can see

Anyone in the Southern California area (OC, hopefully) seeing good stock? Want to try and walk in today but not sure & online stock information showing out of stock everywhere
