I like my new X - but I actually wish it were bigger. Seems a bit small to me (especially coming from an iPhone 6s Plus). Why didn't they make it bigger or come out with 2 versions.

feels much narrower, if you are used to the plus size and enjoy the real estate on it, you will be dissapointed.. I am pretty dissapointed but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
Same least others are honest

Let's all just say what this dude wants to hear it's amazing it's huge much bigger than the plus phones not narrow at all

let's keep this on topic, please

just got it in the USA and I have to admit it does feel smaller coming from a 7 plus. I am not saying I don't like the X I do, but it will feel smaller. I personally wish it was as wide as the 7 plus since I have big hands

do you have an X? if so can you return it and get the 8+ ? this way someone who wants the plus on launch day at store can have it so you can feel better with a cm wide apps

Comparing 5.8" vs 5.5" doesn't take into account the space lost to the notch or rounded corners or aspect ratio when watching videos. It is in fact less usable screen area than the Plus...

in addition to the narrower screen, not all app has new update to take advantage of the new screen ratio. another word, they are not full screen, black bar at the top and bottom. this makes a screen even smaller.

It may be slightly less due to the notch, but not to the point where people are complaining that its so much smaller area of usage. People overblow everything.

people on this forum only wanna hear why the phone they are getting is amazing im being honest like others and i get stick for it, im out you guys go enjoy it
Of course they do. No one likes buyer's remorse...

If I were a yearly upgrader, I'd probably get a X and live with the smaller screen. But instead, I want a smartphone to be economical and last me two years at least - so getting a X now is a decision I will regret come September 2018 and the larger Plus model. No issues with the Plus form factor, so I'll happily take the larger screen.

Feels smaller but comfortable. Not much of an adjustment needed. Screen real estate seems fine coming from a +. Transition has been easy.

I'm loving mine, even though its taking FOREVER to restore my photo library from iCloud. I did have to prune some of my drone videos, as I had the 256GB 7+ and only have the 64GB X. I've only gone for the home button once, the swipe up thing feels totally natural already and I've only had it in my hand about four hours now.

It's launch day, apps will get updated.
