Yes there are sleep monitoring apps, though not a native apple one.

I charge my watch in the morning while I eat breakfast and shower. It doesn't take long to charge, about an hour to go from 0-80 and another hour to top off to 100. My watch is usually about half way charged in the morning, so charging it for 30-45 minutes while I get ready is plenty.

I have a series 3

What version do you have?
This!
I also charge it during my commute.

I charge mine overnight instead of wearing it. I also prefer to get that break from wearing it instead of wearing it all the time.

Not anywhere under the band. Rash in a little area under watch itself. But only when I wore the watch day & night (22-23h/day). My skin is fine with just 17-18h/day watch wearing with any of my bands (sport, nylon, stainless steel, etc).
That isn't something the Nike band would fix! My girlfriend is the same way you are it sounds

Yes I wear mine at night, and use an app called Sleep Watch which monitors my sleep. (Probably the best sleep app out there)

When I wake up to take a shower I put my watch on the charger, and when I am done showering and getting dressed my watch is all charged and ready to go for another day. :)

I'll have to try Sleep Watch
