Please describe briefly any problems you have encountered using OS X since updating to 10.4.10.

no problems for me. USB drives are mounting, nothing has slowed down at all... it's all good for me :)

1.83GHz Core Duo MacBook, 1.5GB RAM

i haven't experienced any problems, though it seems that teh beachball comes up more often than before.

Just the Dock, trouble accessing it. It was all good after I re-started it again.

Goofy issue with OmniDazzle taking 60 bounces to launch the first time after Mac OS X finished updating itself, but besides that, no problems :D

USB mounting

Can't mount one of my USB hard drives, the other one works great though

Yes me too!
I am on a iMac G5 and I applied first the update, then the combo-update thinking there was a mistake somewhere. Since then no way to boot on external drives, whether USB or Firewire :( It's a pain now to repair permissions!

I also found another weird error. Now I cannot play DVDs anymore using videolan. I have an I/O DVD player error. Did you guys find this too?

On my Powerbook I can no longer click on the Spotlight button. I need to bring up the Spotlight window.

On my Mac mini, I get the speaker "pop" problem others have reported on here, but otherwise everything is fine.

Am about to install on the MacBook Pro.

besides the fact my 17" Rev A MBP takes FOREVER to start up, my brightness on my lcd is stuck at freakin max... can't change it in the display prefpane or via the keys... well, thankfully my replacement MBP is coming from apple today...

thank goodness no problems for me.

i've had enough headaches unrelatable to the update to last me a year.

The "minimize" button on windows seems to randomly disappear, especially in Safari. I also have Safari 3 beta, but I didn't notice this issue until the update this morning.

i don't remember any problems with any updates, ever since 10.3.4, the big switcheroo. just like some versions of os x better then others.

Whoops, trigger finger..... remove a vote from "Problems since installing 10.4.10 PPC Update" and put it on the no problem side.

I had initial trouble with my wireless, I had to fiddle around with the settings to get it started up again.

And now ever since the update, when my Macbook is on; occasionally the light beside the built-in iSight is just always on, and when I open an application such as Photo Booth there just appears to either be a black or green screen. This wasnt there before the update though =/

I have also noticed my start-up speed worsen considerably.

Got Rid Of Os 9 This Morning And It Seems To Be Working As Usual!!! Anyhow, I'm Not Sure That Was Wise Or Not, But It'll Be Gone Anyways When Mac Os X (10.5) "leopard" Gets Out In October!!!

I Formatted and reinstalled OSX, then immediatly updated to 10.4.10. No problems.

I'm getting popping audio on my Macbook C2D with external speakers

Ok good (well not really), but at least it's an issue for some of us.

At first I thought it was Mail -- checking messages and then pop, but there's no consitency. I also quit Mail and it still happened. The only other applications I have open are Adium and Safari.
