I've never had much of an issue with AT&T. I did seem to have better reception over all with Verizon, but I will never go back to them as they were complete ass hats.

My problem with AT&T is how they are treating their non-iPhone users. They give better discounts on the iPhone than blackberry and other smart phones. They bend over backwards for iPhone but tend to screw up everything everything else.

Okay that ONE thread proves me wrong. I think you need to get out more.

Get out more? CNN "got out" and did a poll showing 73% of iPhone users love at&t. This poll corroborates it, especially considering that the distractors who make up a minority of the forum are the loudest. "Getting out" and relying on hearsay means nothing because those who hate at&t are still the loudest in person whereas the satisfied ones rarely speak up.

Wow, we're near the poll score of the original article. I'm impressed.

I entered "not decided" only because I loved AT&T when I had my RAZR and WinMo phones. I gladly paid ETFs to get away from Big Red and their ability to stifle the device manufacturers, and it was great swapping SIMs and tinkering with all the settings on HowardForums I couldn't do on a Verizon phone.

It kinda went sour over the years with the iPhone, only because they knowingly lined their pockets for three generations of iPhones, and didn't raise a finger to fix the growing concerns until towards the end of their exclusivity (or it at the very least, it appears that way to the public).

I guess if I had to choose between only "YES" and "NO," I would choose YES, but they REALLY (and I mean REALLY) need to show a sign of goodwill, faith, or customer appreciation. All I've seen is the opposite (raising rates, delaying features, cutting features, server crashes, distinct dead zones, no apologies, and Seth the Fake Blogger Guy), and when I see the CEO's elitist prick-like smirk, I just want to shove a cell tower down his throat.

They always say "vote with your wallet" and unfortunately, I end up voting twice when I buy an iPhone in the US.

It's all relative...

Whenever someone w/o an iPhone asks about mine and my service. I always respond with "It's all relative."

My personal experience with At&t has been great. I have full 3G service 90% of my day to day. Hell I went camping in the middle of nowhere TN and still had 3G. When I spoke to customer service bc I was contemplating the EVO 4G, they were super nice and helpful.

But a buddy of mine doesn't get service at his house and when he threatened to get the EVO and switch to Sprint, the customer service rep more or less dared him to do it. So he did....

But like I was saying imo At&t is great...

Been with AT&T for over 10 years. No complaints. Their customer service has always been amazing for us.

Well said. I receive such good service from them, that I keep three smartphones active, each on their own line. In fact I've disconnected my home phone as of three years ago. Of the three phones I'm currently using the only one that drops calls is the iPhone 4. I fully expect the next iPhone Apple builds will no longer have the problem.

I'm not sure why your buddy thought he'd accomplish anything out of that. They're not going to build him a personal tower to fill the hole. Carriers have a 30 day reprieve for a reason.

But, yes, I agree it's all relative, which would be true for any carriers. at&t has holes, as do Verizon and T-Mobile.

Learning how cellular phone networks function would help users understand why dead spots are a fact of life, no matter which carrier is providing their service. Remember, a cell phone is nothing more than a radio.

I've been happy with AT&T since 2007, several months before the original iPhone came out.

I'm NOT happy with the new data plans, but for now that doesn't affect me because I'm still on unlimited iPhone data.

Finally, solid data that shows iphone fanboys are completely crazy and have untrustworthy opinions :D

Seriously, this poll shows that iphone users basically justify their choice of an absolutely horrible wireles service provider due to their choice of cell phone.

AT&T Sucks for me. I'm changing carriers once my contract ends at the end of this year

For whatever reason, my house, although being in a populated suburb of Boston, is in a cell phone dead zone. AT&T is the ONLY carrier that has any reception at all in my house, so yes I am pretty happy with them since they are the best for me in my area.

I've had AT&T for the last 5 years, before iPhones were flooding the network. I've lived in PA, MD, TX and now NC without any problems whatsoever. For me personally, my service has actually gotten better. Previous to AT&T I had Verizon, and between the two carriers, AT&T's coverage and customer service well exceeded that of Verizon's.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I'm happy with it.

I like the fact that when I call customer service, I get a real person and that English appears to be their native language. The reps I have spoken to all appear to really care that I am well taken care of. That really makes a difference to me, because that is so rare to find now days. So yes - AT&T Rocks!

Same here. AT&T CS is always very helpful. I've only had to call twice, but I am literally nervous calling any customer service from when I had my Dell computers way back when.

That, and I get great service. Always 5 bars. :D

"The iPhone is also the gift that keeps on giving: 77% of iPhone owners say they'll buy another iPhone, compared to 20% of Android customers who say they'll buy another Android phone."

Lol - Maybe because AT&T needs to expand their Android selection? Unless this article is referring to ALL Android phones on all Networks in general, which it may be doing so, AT&T's only Android phone up until recently is not very cool. The Backflip is kind of lame, and it was running off of Cupcake last I checked, wtf (They plan to update it, but come on)? Hopefully the Aria and Captivate actually kick some ass.

P.S. I can't stand Android, I think it has too many glitches and the App's are awful.

AT&T's service is great where I live, the only thing I don't like is their ugly tethering prices.

When I "threatened" to go to Sprint they lowered my bill.....:D

My family has been with AT&T since 2004 and we love them. The few issues we have had have been quickly resolved. Their coverage is good in Pittsburgh and surrounding area and better than verizon and sprint. Even if the iPhone left and went to another carrier I would stay with AT&T.
