I'd always had black / grey before the 6 but fancied a change and got the silver one. I haven't got tired of it and much prefer the look to the darker colours now. Of course, my experience is no guarantee of you having the same

iPhone 3G 8 GB bought on launch day was BLACK
Skipped the next two generations
iPhone 4S 64 GB is WHITE/SILVER
iPhone 5S 64 GB is WHITE/GOLD
iPhone 6S 128 GB will be.. ? (4.7 inch screen, not interested in the huge Plus version)
Strongly tempted to go with the BLACK/SPACE GRAY to make it a trifecta, and that's probably what I'll do.
UNLESS.. The ROSE GOLD, if it were offered with a BLACK FACE, which they might do to create another black bezel option.. I think that would be awesome.

The S cycle for me is the White cycle. I alternate every phone. 3Gs white, 4 black, 4S white, 5 black/slate, 5S gold/white, 6, Space gray, 6s - Silver/white.
I've actually thought the silver phones look the best the past few years so will be getting my first of the silvers. I probably would have gotten a silver 5S (though I thought about breaking the series with the SG 5S), but my wife wanted the gold, and every year I pass my phone to her and get the new one.

Every year I say I'm going to go for the white/silver, but I always get cold feet and order the space grey. I just worry that I'll grow tired of the white bezels and regret not getting the space grey, even though I love the look of the white/silver phones.
I feel like woman will typically buy the gold more than anything. Not to generalize but I feel like this site is heavily guy oriented. I know my wife wants gold. I guess I'm saying this poll has a skewed pool of participants.
