used sports/luxury cars are rather affordable, a 996 or 997 can be had for the price of a new Camry nowadays. So the notion that people who drives these cars don’t care about maintenance need to be throw out of the window, we very much care about the running cost, at Least me and my group of friends who owns them, that’s why we prefer third party mechanics who have the proper tools rather than dealerships.

Is this the first single-DIN CarPlay unit available? (I mean with a flush screen, rather than one that folds out). There are loads of cars in Europe with single DIN slots, if Sony/Kenwood/Pioneer etc made a cheap one of these, I think it would be very popular. Also - CarPlay supports different screen rations, so there’s no reason why a single DIN unit couldn’t have a full width “letterbox” screen.

THIS IS AWESOME!!! MERCEDES BENZ needs to catch up and do the same! I need this for my 2011 SLS AMG, and my 1958 SL 190!!!
