Portenzo iPad 2 Case: Now a Smart Cover

How have you liked your Composition? I'm leaning toward getting the composition II, but am wondering how well it's held up. While the notebook is faux leather, it's not clear to me what the cover of the composition is made from and if it will hold up as well as (or better than?) the notebook case. Any pictures? :)

Yea, thats true... black looks classy, does not look like a comic book.. :D
I had ordered black earlier, and was going back and forth with red and blue, but I will keep black, not planning to change the order now.

The composition held up well for my iPad 1, I liked it. I will admit that the actual composition design wore around the edges sooner than I would have liked. I don't know what the used or if they have corrected the issue. So I concluded it wasnt worth the $20 increase over the regular.

I'd get it again in a heart beat if I knew they corrected the issue. But I really want a stylus holder so I'm going regular.
 
Has anyone received a Portenzo with natural linen interior? I'm about to order and am trying to decide between the natural linen and apple green, and can't find any pictures of the linen.

Someone in this thread posted some pics of natural linen. It's probably somewhere between pages 30 and 50, lol! But I do remember seeing them!
 
Yup, that was me. My goal was to maximize its resemblance to an actual Moleskine. Here's another shot (I'm not much of a photographer, I'm afraid):

Darin replied to my email about clear corners on 23.5s. He said all 23.5s have clear corners, but said a few went out with black corners due to a new hire. He said if it arrives with black corners he will replace. But he still won't answer about when mine will ship ?! When he previously said all 23.5s ordered before 3/25 will ship before 4/11.?????
 
Darin let me know that 23.5's will begin shipping 4/11 and not all shipped "by 4/11" as was initially stated. He said that error was most likely due to new hires. He implicitly stated a ton of 23.5's would ship out today. Here's hoping mine is in that bunch...

I just don't get why they wont just give a few daily updates.

That would rid them for 50% of the emails.

Just twitter a few "Today XXXX numbers of cases will ship" or "We just got new stock of XXXXX" or "We're up to ordernumber 7000"

WHY oh WHY Portenzo?

Morocco's are supposed to start shipping tomorrow and all orders before 3/25 will be mailed out before 4/25.

Morocco's are the ones that are delayed the most, I ordered mine on 3/17 for Morocco and still waiting. :rolleyes:

Let me know if they respond though since they do custom cases and might have clear bumpers available.

Apparently the new hires at portenzo messed up some 23 1/2 and put in black bumpers instead (as mentioned above). That's why we haven't been seeing pics with clear bumpers. Who knows XD

That would have to be Ms. Swan from Mad TV (waaaay back in the 90's if memory serves). Not sure if anyone else got it yet...still working my way through the forum.... but, if not, where's my 10 internets? :cool:
