That's possible, but another option is if Apple uses the 5C approach multiple times to put old 4.7" internals minus the larger display into a 4" phone so that "new" 4" iPhones can be released for the forseeable future. So I guess they're not going to have a new 4" phone to replace the 5s? At least one person mentioned to me that like the size of the current iPhone and would want anything bigger. In a couple of years you won't be able to buy a new 4" iPhone then.
Maybe the blue is actually slate.
I remember that slate looked blueish under the right light and angle.
"It is slate. You're looking at it wrong."
Why? Controlled leak makes people excited plus controlled supply during launch period makes the illusion of popularity... Apple has done well on these two and they succeeded
Erm, I think its more likely to be some kind of treatment. Come on guys.
Chemical treatment of the part significantly affects its matteness or brightness (specularity). Chemical treatment is done prior to anodizing and is a very important factor in the final appearance of the anodized part. The pre-anodize chemical treatment of aluminum is often called the cleaning, clean-up or pretreatment phase of the process.
Blue would be great.
I'd say that colors are not very new generation apple-esque, but with their release of the 5C and even that little Macbook Air Decal commercial, maybe they're becoming more open minded?
There is no 5.5" model.
They had multi colored iMacs since the 90s and introduced multi colored iPod Nanos and Touches many years ago. I'd say they've been open minded for quite some time now.
This. This is exactly what I am thinking. A treatment prior to anodizing.

Perhaps Apple should give up on plugging these leaks.
Seriously? People are still selling the controlled supply shtick? You've gotta be kidding me. The only controls limiting the supply of iPhones are the many natural laws of physics.
Also, Apple regularly announces the number of devices sold during launch periods. Selling millions of devices per day doesn't require an illusion of popularity.
RUMORS - period.
Don't believe it or any others here until you see it on release day.
