I can also only add to the 'broken' reports: Using the following equipment
- Boot Camp with Windows 10
- 2017 MacBook Pro 15" (MBP15)
- FritzBox 3370
- Logitech M590 mouse
I experience regular WLAN drops. The problems range from hefty lags (unplayable) and speed drops (no browsing possible) to entire connection loss (need to reconnect to my WiFi). The problems occur with other routers also. No problems under macOS. The problems tend to be stronger with
- low battery
- hot device
- many cables plugged in
though they explicitly also occur when none of these is present.
I was also not able to connect the mouse via bluetooth initially, where it was shown in a list but pairing ended in an error. Connection with the Unified Receiver worked flawlessly. However, this could be fixed by unpairing the mouse under macOS - now the pairing via Bluetooth worked under Windows. Two take-aways here:
- Maybe the Bluetooth problem is related to the WLAN problem, maybe not.
- Obviously macOS and Windows seem to have more connection then I would have assumed, since also deactivating Bluetooth under macOS results in deactivated Bluetooth under Windows.
I have no internet problems using a Huawei 4G stick.
Apple support says they do not feel responsible for issues under Windows. I think this is an embarrassing issue in the first place, with the support reaction making it all even worse. Thinking about returning the MacBook Pro.
