Another 3G iPhone mockup on the Internet just before WWDC?

i wish it did look like that.. buts its just a white normal one

If its fake, why didn't they just export it from photoshop? Its not like you can sit down at a restricted computer that you are walking by, export it and send it around.
That's some episode of "Alias" you're remembering. At Apple, if you don't have clearance, you're not allowed in restricted areas. Period. If you're an artist working in their Ad/Marketing department, you don't just wander down the hall for a break without logging out of your computer or throwing some sort of protection against the type of leak you're talking about. People would lose their jobs if they did.

But the average employee is certainly not allowed in those restricted areas ever... especially with a camera. People who work at Apple love working there and want to keep their job. This was not some sort of inside job. This wasn't someone who just happened to be around a "restricted computer" and outsmarted everyone in that area.

This is a fake. That's it.

Boy I just can't wait these next few hours until Steve jives his speech! I just wish there was a way to speed up time....Opps, that must be the "There's just one more thing"! Sorry, I am not supposed to speak of this!

Few Hours? More like several. I'd be happy if it was a few hours though!

Not sure why everyone keeps saying photoshopped. As far as I heard a couple months ago from members that seemed to know Apple pretty well, they quit shooting real pictures of products and started doing everything digital.

Also, to the one person that called me a liar on missing sleep/wake/power button on apple.com, here is the link. Look at the picture of the back and side, the only one that I see that has a button is the iPhone showing the coverflow.

The Apple gallery is NOT missing the sleep/wake button at all. Why would they market something that is missing physical features on their website? That's like Apple showing off the latest MacBook without a trackpad.

If Apple is doing everything digital now, of course they would be using some kind of photoshop program to create phones. Hence, if these are early renders, they would be missing some features. Also, the quote "store manager" that was leaking info on phone said these are early renders and not the final versions. If that is true that would also explain why there are features missing or not complete.

I think I'm going to go to bed late just so I can wake up at the start of the WWDC speech

I see it on the back and front.

I got them from the link you posted earlier.

So, anyone that is on a Mac, can you go to the Apple.com US site, click on iPhone, then click on gallery. I have pics with a black back ground and I am unable to find a link from Apple.com to the other photos posted with white backgrounds.

All he did was white out the black background to show you that the button is indeed there. And yes it is there on the black/grey background.

I would like to apologize, I adjusted my screen brightness and I can now see it. Sorry guys, I stand corrected.

Yes they do. Only because Apple they can't be bothered to make something look nice for Windows of all things...

Also, wow nep61. I joined this forum as a Mac user and enthusiast...however not even I feel the need to blast Windows

Most of the world puts up with Windows because it works fine, and they'd rather not be elitist Apple fanboys.

Sorry... a friend called me this morning with a "Computer Problem" .... I went to his house to check out the problem with his PC (running XP) and upon multiple restarts, the problem just went away... go figure... but it was a frustrating hour & a half to say the least... my apologies... I guess I just went on with bashing Windows with out thinking...

Rough morning --all things considered--- and I'm a bit excited about the new phone...

Video

So are we to believe that there now are 2 cameras on the phone?

One on the back for taking pictures and a second on the front for video iChat.

Really?

I hope these pics are NOT real, I don't like the look at all..but with rumors of different versons of the 3G iPhone, this may be some kind of lower end model. First iPhone design>>>>this design.

ok.
the camera on the front of all of these pictures could have been done in paint.
in one of the pictures, this front camera is even pixelated.
