Possible Photos of 3G iPhone

It's obviously a fake, and for all of the reasons pointed out. Plus, two things:

A) The lettering for the guy's name is surrounded by strange granulated areas, while the rest of the image shows no sign of it. (Almost dead giveaway for a photoshop job)

and,

B) Apple wouldn't make anything that ugly. You guys who think that "thing" looks good are insane. We all know that Apple can do much better than that. At least, let's hope so.

Look at the girl in the image, she would be the one calling the guy on the other end...

Now look at the background behind her, pitch BLACK... Why is that? It's obvious the picture was taken at nighttime or in a very dark location, she would not have her face nicely illuminated as if by the flash of a camera... The iPhone would not illuminate her face to that degree...

Obviously fake...

Also take into consideration, the apple products are kept under extremely strict supervision and even with the original iPhone only a couple of people had access to them...

Think again from a legal perspective:

a) if it were real apple would have sent lawyers out immediately and had the images pulled under threat of severe legal action (remember thinksecret.com?)
b) who in their right mind would put their stupid looking mug shot for the whole world to see saying here I am apple sue me?

so is it just me or did no one else read the trademarked MobileME by Apple right under the "exchange ideas" logo....seems like there were alt of rumors about apple revamping their .mac service to MobileMe and how me.com was also bought in by apple.

I agree, it's not that big of deal.
Remember you probable will also have settings in the iPhone "iChat", like "mirror" or so...

The pictures are fake or at least manipulated with Photoshop. But they could come close to the real thing.
About the ON/Off button missing on the red iPhone, this could be a legal issue just to protect yourself when you leaking such pictures. I'm sure, if so, that the other pictures also will have minor details differences... So the Photoshop issue could be a legal thing...
 
Fake, however it looks good.

There is also no way apple would send out boxes containing the new iphone to these resellers.

They are probably marketing material if anything

Its like pandoras box, the temptation would be too great.

Also the sacked apple employee would probaly be able to make more money than apple could pay them by going srainght to say the Sun or News Of The World in the UK. They would pay 100's of thousands of pounds as EVERYONE wants to know what this looks like.

IF they did do this then apple deserves everything it gets. But apple isn't this stupid.
 
Are those (light blue) guidlines I see in the pic? I'm sure somebody already noticed it, but I'm going to be lame, and not filter through 200 some posts to find out.

If I had to guess it will more or less look exactly the same as the original with "3G" written on the back.

although speculating is fun, don't get yourselves too hyped up or if/when the 3G iPhone is announced you may be disappointed....

That looks horrible. Is it just me or do all apple products that are ported over to windows look horrible? Can not even Apple make a decent looking product for windows? I guess what really matters there is that it works well...I'll stick with mac, thank you very much.
