Spaces, or the fact that when you select a file for renaming it doesn't automatically select the extension. I can't stress enough how useful that is!
Definitely one of my top ten. I don't know why it wasn't in there before.
Spring loaded dock icons are cool too...

Yes, I like them a lot too. Again, something that could/should have been in Tiger.

I think my overall favorite feature of Leopard is Quicklook. Since I'm a Word fan (I know, I know ) Rosetta really slows me down at times. However, when I just need to read through something quickly, Quicklook saves me precious time. By far this has been the one feature I've used the most since installing Leopard.

Quicklook is really neat. I have Numbers and Pages docs I don't care to open up the app to look at. Also, all the readmes, version histories and stuff that come with freeware and app updates and stuff that are nice to be able to see without openning TextEdit. Granted, TE opens fast, but then you have to quit it all the time :p

My MBP is getting a much stronger connection to my wireless network! It's great! A few other things that I like are Stacks and Time Machine. Stacks is great because I can keep applications out that I use all the time on my dock and ones I don't use as often in a Stack. And... Time Machine has already saved the day once. :D

The one thing that really disappointed me about Stacks was the lack of Quicklook function. If I want to Quicklook a file or document from a stack, I have to choose 'show in Finder' first. What's the point of a stack then?

Yeah, that's true. Maybe in a future update? I do like it for apps, though! They look so cute stacked on top of each other.

Sounds like a good one for Apple feedback. I've found myself trying to do Quicklook too. Does seem like a natural.

On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised when selecting an attachment in Mail, hitting space, and having Quicklook display the .pps. Nice.

How about the "Always open in [Icon/List/Column/Cover Flow] view" option for individual folders. It gets annoying in Tiger having to switch the view mode when opening different folders. If you wanted to see your apps folder in list view (in Tiger) and then click your documents folder in the sidebar you see your docs folder in list view instead of icons if that's how you want to always see them. Now you can check the box and whenever you go to apps it switches to the list view and then changes it back when you click a folder that you have set for icon mode.

Spaces/Quicklook is great for me since I like to have as much open as humanly possible at all times. So long as my RAM permits it of course. I hate having to wait even a few seconds for that first file to open in an application so if I don't already have it open and assigned to a space, then I just quicklook it to determine if it is actually worth my time.

The menubar responds much faster than it did in Tiger, particularly the wireless menu. IN general i feel that the OS responds faster, and that is always welcome. The improved Finder is nice and I like all the little things that they have done, and the improved file sharing is excellent. One thing that always drove me nuts about OS X was how hard it was as compared to Windows to just quickly share a file. With XP i could right click on a folder and say 'Share' and poof, a few seconds later a share appeared on the network. With OS X I had to remember where exactly the public folder was stored, and how to point people to it.

Oh yea, Screen Sharing rocks my sock.

Quicklook! I got an email with a powerpoint file on friday and decided to give it a go. I was really surprised that it worked from mail.app and that it could view powerpoint files.
