why are iOS 7 wallpapers different to any other iOS version?

Because they need to be 121% larger than old wallpapers to avoid scaling due to the parallax. I.e. iPhone 5 wallpapers should now be 735x1375.

Yeah pretty much any nature or space photo I've tired has worked really well. I like the dark wallpapers for the home screen because it tones down the app icon colors a bit. Here is another one that I think looks really good on the home screen.

I love this wallpaper! However I noticed when I set it as my wallpaper that it was very light on the edges so I gave it a quick photoshop.

It wont look very different on your computer monitor but it will look a hell of a lot better on your iPhone.

Thanks, that's a good site. I'm ready for iOS 7 on the iPad cause I'm sure the parallax effect will be even better on the larger screen.

Couldn't agree more. The folders are atrocious against more backgrounds than not. For functionality though, I kind of need/want them.

I've put my most used apps into a folder on the dock and relegated everything else to page 2. It surprised me how few I use on a regular basis.
