Duplicate app icon. I couldn't delete the shadow Morningstar icon. Had to restart the phone. Never seen such glitch in prior iteration

location services for hue coming home to trigger lights to come on, doesnt work when streaming a podcast. Or hue is **** and the dev team break it every week they update it.:(

No idea if this has been posted before, but I keep having e-mails I've deleted by swiping left show up again a few seconds later, and I have to re-delete. Does not happen every time, but fairly often, making me a little annoyed.

Also, hidden photos show up on photostream slideshows.

On my iPad2 (iOS8) when using Safari and typing in a MacRumors forum reply, infrequently I get a freeze, where everything stops. Never saw this in previous iOSs. The times I've tried to wait it out, is more than a minute or two, where I lose patience. So it's possible a longer wait would result it unfreezing by itself. I correct it by switching to another app and then back to Safari. Sometimes my half finished reply is still there! :p

Anyone else? Any clues?

Yes. This happens to me once or twice a day when I'm typing on another forum. It started with 8.0 the day I got my iPhone and 8.1 didn't fix it. I've even restored to factory settings. I force close mobile Safari by going into task switcher, but tapping the unresponsive screen will make it crash and then you can reload it. A portion of my post is usually saved as a draft. Is it still happening to you?

Sorry if this bug has already been reported before.
The first day IOS 8 appeared I upgraded my iPad 2.
Then suddently, when writing a post, it became frozen at a certain point.
No further writing possible, no backwards to the previous page, nothing! :(
The whole display was frozen and the only way to get out was with the Home button to finish Safari.
Luckily I found in the web instructions how to downgrade to 7.1.2 and at least at that moment (September 23.) it was possible. Today I do not know if downgrading is still possible. Now, in spite of IOS 8.01 and 8.02 I will still wait for a while. A frozen iPad is a scary possibilty and I do not know if downgrading will still be allowed by Apple if the newer IOS version causes the same problem,
If any owner of a iPad 2 had the same bug and if IOS 8.0.2 solved it,I would be very grateful to tell me about it. Thanks ! Ed
It still happens to me on 8.1. Sometimes it happens several times a day.

Safari is really buggy in iOS 8.0.2 on my iPhone 5s. I've seen the following problems frequently:

1. Safari completely locks up when back spacing in text field. Happens randomly, but frequently. At this point the only choice is to force kill Safari or wait for it to eventually crash. Seems more likely to occur when deleting numbers with periods after them.

This has been happening to me since September on my iPhone 6. 8.1 and a factory restore didn't fix it. Is it sill happening to you?

While typing in Safari the keyboard (and Safari app) will randomly freeze on my iPhone 6. I have to force quite Safari and then tap the icon like 3 times before it opens.

Anyone else notice these?
Same here.
Safari freezing then crashing every time I enter a few bugs into this thread, but only before I can hit submit.

This is like the 4th time in a week, I swear iOS knows I'm talking about it.

I use copy/paste frequently, but it still thinks I want to paste a comment about potato chips that I wrote about two weeks ago.

- It pastes the last thing I copied, or
- It pastes the thing I copied before that, or
- It pastes the potato chip comment

Really weird bug.

Safari freezing by typing "iPhone"

Is this still happening for either of you? It happens to me daily even after restoring to factory settings on 8.1.

Haven't seen it for awhile, not since 8.1 was released I believe. I don't do a lot of typing in Safari though and I did a reset all settings at some point.

Yes it is. To clarify, what I'm doing to correct is switch out of Safari, but I don't close it, go to the home page of iOS, then relaunch Safari from there. This unlocks Safari reloads the thread I was working in, and sometimes some of my response will remain. It feels like a 50-50 proposition whether I have to start over from scratch on my reply. What I do now, where working on a lengthy reply is about half way through I copy the text just in case.

You'll be needed the iPhone 6s with 2gb of ram. I hope people groan loudly in the keynote when apple introduce it seeing as they should have put it in the 6

OMG I'm having the same issues with my iPad 2. It's very aggravating that it freezes many times. I hope it gets fix soon!!

Am I the only one that muting group conversations just doesn't work for AT all? Still getting every single one.

Did iOS 8.1.1 fix this for any of you? I'm still on 8.1 and debating updating. I just barely got my jailbreak back after going without it for a couple months. I think it will be worth the trade if 8.1.1 fixes Safari, but I don't want to lose it for nothing if Apple didn't fix it.

I haven't had any of those issues since I installed 8.1 except for some minor crashing with Safari, and 8.1.1 seems to have fixed that.

Now if they could make selecting text in Safari a little easier. :p

This happens on my 6+, it's annoying as hell when you've typed up a lot of stuff

Anybody else notice that when you pull up the control center it sometimes has the bounce animation that was introduced in 7.1? Well mine seems to bounce sometimes or it seems to go back to the previous slide animation after I have been playing music. I know I'm nit picking but I keep finding all these inconsistencies. iOS 8.1.1

Can't believe I am STILL getting this bug in iOS 8.1.1 :mad:

These are some websites which I have added to my home screen on my iPhone 6. Pre iOS 8, all of these showed up as proper icons (some created a logo of their website whilst others, were just a screen shot of the webpage), however, ever since iOS 8, they have all been changed into blank icons

Yes, I could quite easily delete them and re-add then however, that is not the point and I also have a quite a few.

iOS 8.0.1 did not fix this and neither did, 8.0.2 nor 8.1.

However, when I upgraded to 8.1.1(earlier this week), I then looked at the icons and they had reverted back to their former correct versions so all was ok.

However, just now, when I re-checked these, they have reverted BACK TO BEING BLANK FFS :mad: I think these must have reverted to blank, when I first turned my phone off, the very first time in iOS 8.1.1.

I am gonna file a Bug Report with Apple about this cos this is just getting ridiculous............:(
