geo fencing in philips hue app doesn't work. How does such an expensive piece of crap get into the apple store?!?! as geofencing doesn't work I come home to a dark house and I can't even open the door and say "turn my ****ing lights on!" because there is no hue home kit support. I don't get a job in charge at these places because people would be going home crying

After the recent update my phone seems to have trouble staying on my school's WPA Enterprise network, saying it is unable to join network, and it instead defaults to the one for guests that doesn't have a password...

iPhone 6 Plus lock screen is zoomed, even when standard is selected

Under Settings > Display & Brightness > View, I've got "Standard" enabled. However, I noticed early on when I first got the phone (iOS 8.0) that the indicators at the top of the screen are Zoomed in the lock screen. I double and triple-checked the Setting, but it doesn't fix the lock screen. The bug has persisted through all iterations so far through iOS 8.1.1 (12B436).

This is the default behaviour since iOS 7. Status bar indicators are specifically displayed larger on the lockscreen for extra clarity with quicker glances.

Note sure if this existed before, but I noticed an annoying occurrence when composing an email on my iPhone that I had started on my Mac.

Whenever I switch tasks, like visiting Safari real quick, without saving the draft then come back to my email, it adds the Send my iPhone signature at the bottom and can even replace part of the email body I had typed if the email is long enough. I can't shake to undo so I either have to correct it on the spot (if I still remember) or cancel changes and edit the draft.

I made a topic on this but no one responded so I'll put it here too

When you are in an app like safari in landscape mode and then use multitasking to select an app like messaging, shouldn't that app have already corrected itself to be landscape too?

I'm including this pic to try and explain what I mean.

No because it's a snapshot of the state you left it in. It's not running and it doesn't know you are going to choose it.

But when you switch to it, the orientation doesn't change unless you flip the phone to portrait then back to landscape

After upgrading my iPod, iPad Air & iPad Mini Retina to iOS 8, they will no longer reboot properly pressing both the "Home" key and "Power" button. The white Apple logo will appear but then fade back to a black screen requiring repeating of the same procedure. Unfortunately, this results in the same problem. Somehow, after doing this numerous times on each each device, all 3 have rebooted and now operate. This is unacceptable and not the performance of all 3 devices under iOS 7. Accordingly, I'm not upgrading my 5S until this is resolved.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had the same problem on iPhone 4s and iPad 2. Eventually all do reboot, but we shouldn't have to do it multiple times to get it to work.

Music skips galore. Still not fixed.

Had that on Yosemite on Mac as well. I wonder if it's an iTunes problem that extends through the various devices?

who has the speaker issue when on a call for say 15 min the other caller can no longer hear you?

I've had it intermittently.

When I upgraded my iPad 2 to iOS 8.1.1, it went into an Apple logo reboot loop. It did that for about 4 or 5 times and eventually booted into the update screen. My only though is that it was trying to do upgrade processing and it took too long and locked up the UI.

My iPad mini 1 exhibits some pretty extreme skittishness toward touches. Using Mercury, if I hold my finger on a link (to get a menu), it does not seem to be able to recognize that. If I scroll a page slowly, it keeps picking up multi-touch events. And even the (native) keyboard has become rather unreliable, detecting phantom or erroneous keystrokes.

I have different mail notification sounds for my work email, personal email and VIP. Frequently the wrong alert sound plays. For example personal will play VIP or vice versa or personal will play work.

It seems to happen more on my iPad 2, but I've also seen it on my iPhone 5s.

Still playing whack a mole when highlighting words on this forum when replying to another post. Not happening now but I'm not quoting.

appreciate some of this may have been discussed but does anyone else have any of the following? (iPhone 6 for reference and it is jailbroken but was seeing these problems before)

control centre - once i have been using my phone of more than a few minutes the control centre won't appear. once i lock and unlock the phone it works again.

music app - not sure if these are bugs or annoyances?
- when playing a song/album in portrait mode, then switching phone to landscape if doesn't show what you were playing, shows all albums.
- if i stop playing something then want to swipe up control centre later and carrying on playing where i left off, the play button will have the latest video i watched from youtube or Facebook etc! dislike this!

Anyone else? iphone 6

- When swipe down for Spotlight and immediately swipe it up again without typing it lags really hard  happens only once and then its okay. half an our later it lags again.... very ugly.

-statusbar symbols in the notes app are white for me - on its white background !!!!

How can I fix this stuff?

mines ok

On my iPad 2, 4/5 finger gestures periodically stop working until I go into Settings. Sometimes that's enough, other times I have to toggle the actual setting off and on again.

I have the play button in control center bug. It's the worst.

On my mini, I found that if I pull down notifications, they will work again. Pull down the notification screen and you can swipe or pinch from there.

Has anyone noticed when you click to switch tabs in Safari it some times has a snapshot of a previous site but when you click into it it shows the correct page you were on!
