Well I don't know what you do with yours, but I notice the lack of RAM daily. My iPhone 5 was bad for tab reloads but the 6+ is much, much worse. This evening I have been researching laptops and have had Ebay, Amazon, and three browser tabs open. Each time I have swapped between Safari, Amazon and Ebay the app/browser has reloaded. On Safari this hasn't been a huge problem, but on Amazon and Ebay it has infuriated me as I've had to start a new search every time. This wouldn't have happened on my iPhone 5, which is two generations older!

I'm thinking that you have an i6 Max, and not the 6+. Correct me if I'm wrong. If so, then you have a different machine. The 6+ is crippled really compared to the iPhone 6 (and even the 5S/i5) when it comes to memory management. The higher resolution screen and/or 'desktop scaler' must have something to do with it.
I can't really say anything about 6+, since I haven't one to try.

Battery checked? So it has gone bad during a software update?
I posted this on facebook and 5 friends have the same problems!

Iphone shutsdown at random when batt is still 10%+ !!!
so it is a software problem.

I had an iPhone 5S running iOS 8.1.2 and it shuts down at 1%.
My iPhone 6 shuts down at 1%.
My iPad air shuts down at 1%.
So yes, in my opinion it's not an universal issue iOS related.

If you want to believe your battery is ok, I'm fine. It's not my business.
But in your position I'd have mine checked by Apple.

Sounds more like a calibration problem. Next time drain the phone down till it shuts down and then charge it overnight.

All of my iPhones have shut down at 1%, including my 6+ on 8.1.2
If they don't, in all likelihood there is a battery calibration issue or a faulty battery.

Go into App Store / updates and choose any app from the list. Tap it to goto it's screen. Choose to share the link via the top right button. Either message or copy the link. It won't.

You have to go into search and find the app then share from there.

Obscure I know. Probably why I found it.

When I'm watching a video on a page in Safari, the audio continues to play for awhile after I close the tab, or even close Safari itself.

Hope the update fixes this as I'm a bit fed up seeing this on my lock screen just because I didn't swipe the played YouTube video away.

heres a scenerio.

Im washing dishes. I ask siri to send an imessage. She says ok and I speak. She says ready to send, I say yes. She sends it. Then she stays on the attached screen. The person replys and ipad beeps/dings/whistles but does not show the iMessage. Stays at the attached screen. After a while iPad switches off to blank lock screen. So I have to go over and touch home button to wake up the screen to see the reply. Ask siri to reply, and I'm back to stage one

Moral of the story..... Don't wash dishes and send messages at the same time....

I have IOS 8 installed on my Iphone 6 + and ipad air. I noticed that ever since I installed IOS 8.1.2 for some reason my available storage would diminish. I did not have this problem with IOS 7 what is causing this problem. I had to reset my phone from time to time just to avoid this problem.

Blame Google and complain to them for that as YouTube is the only app I've seen with that problem. It's actually because they added background play in the last version, but only for music and only if you subscribe. For everyone else it shouldn't be doing that.

Can anyone explain why so buffering while loading YouTube videos and general videos? I use ac connection and it even buffers in low quality videos. A friend of mine told me that this is not a bug of iOS or a wifi problem but needs more ram..... Also when I try to forward the video it will get ages of buffering or get stuck on buffering.

6 plus has shuttering on many animations or while scrolling.....

Sometimes when changing keyboards from apples to a third party the keyboard disappears. I have to kill the app in order to bring it back.

As many have said I get app freezing in some apps when used in landscape. Not always thought....

Copy and paste not always work. Also touching the screen sometimes won't work. And you can't do anything by killing some apps. Everything gets unresponsive. Only solution is sleep mode.

On iMessage/reminders I often get graphical glitches with letters getting above images. Anyone else ?

No point to mention Safari crashing sometimes, black screen and auto refresh even in 2 tabs. I don't know what's the black screen....

As you know wifi signal with iOS 8 sucks. And has nothing to do with 6 plus. I got Same bad signal with my 5S,6 and now 6 plus.

Airport with Mac works finally but finding my Mac is still slow. But it works in the end. In the past it was slower and many times didn't work.

The other space is getting ridiculous. Ok Apple we understand. You force us to buy the 64gb. I am very pissed on that matter and all the garbage that takes space from nowhere.

I also believe apps launching and transition between apps is slower than 5S. Apple should give us more ram. I can't believe why they don't give us 2gbs of ram with the excuse of battery performance. At least plus should have it.

And for last I don't know for you but I am not at all impressed from 6 plus battery. Ok I must admit I am using it more than my 6 but their difference is around 10-20%. Not the beast battery most of the people are reporting. I still get one day of usage.

When in Twitter and someone posts an Instagram link. It opens in the Twitter app but then when you click open in Instagram it goes to the App Store. If you open the app from there it doesn't go to the persons link/video. You go back to Twitter and the open url is showing. Hit open and it opens Instagram link to their video. Way too many steps.

On a 6 + and not suffering issues no where near as dramatic and overexaggerative as Sunking is

If someone is having problems, or more likely seeing problems that you don't due to their usage patterns, it doesn't mean that they are 'exaggerating' things. Far too many people pile into threads where someone is complaining about something and voice their usual "my phone is perfect" diatribe. The issues with the 6+, and iOS8 in general, go far beyond the usual problems that people have encountered historically with iOS updates. This isn't just a case of 'set up as new and you'll be good to go'. I think that Apple are going to lose a lot of customers when upgrade time comes around again unless they pull their fingers out PDQ.

Once again a few forum posts is no where near the millions that are seemingly fine, to be honest your posts are borderline delusional.

I use my phone extremely heavily and most likely more then anyone recharging my 6 Plus almost twice a day cause i use it so much, using complex apps and having a advanced workflow, and i dont really experience issues, no where near like your exxagerativeness. And to be honest there is so much posts that go against what your saying and that agree with me

Of course iOS isnt perfect and has glithes and bugs, what software doesnt? But your sheer hyperbole and pure over exaggeration is just borderline delusional. You have literally nothing good at all to say about your plus, and many many many many dont see eye to eye with you in that catorgory

Its the same thing every year, "i have this bug and glitch" it wont be different next year or the year after, software will always have bugs and glitches, thats just the nature of software today.

Im 100% sure there was a forum poll not to long ago at all that said "who has issues with their iphone 6"? And "who doesnt?"

The "who doesnt" poll vote beat the "who has issues" by a count of over 4x, the poll consisted of over hundreds of users on this forum

Something may be wrong with your Plus then, coming from the 6 I am getting easily over 30-40% better battery life and i get over 4 and a half hours on screen time every charge

Im getting spectacular wifi performance on my 6 Plus on a wireless N network, for the first time i can say my wifi does not drop anymore in iOS 8 ever, im pleased with the better wifi peformance over last iPhones. Also RAM has nothing to do with loading videos from youtube or whatever, the Google Youtube app just sucks and has poor streaming performance, i use protube and its a 64 bit app and its a ton faster then Youtube, it blocks ads, is a 64 bit app (which means really fast), and i can set default playback option (i have it at 1080p) and streaming performance in Protube is amazing, i am loading 1080p videos extremely fast like i should unlike the Youtube app which seemingly doesnt really wanna stream ever in 1080p

Have you tried a hard reset (hold lock button and home button until device shuts off, dont worry it isnt a factory restore just a hard reboot)

And yeah one thing though its been known that 3Rd party keyboards dont work too well on iOS yet and can be causing those glitches and issues in imessage and sometimes when you type , instability from the 3rd party keyboards and its also from iOS side that Apple needs to work on more to help improve 3rd party keyboards

And what are you talking about Apple and you complaining about your device storage? Did you delete the iwork apps that all come pre installed with 64/128 gb iPhone models? Those iwork apps(iMovie, Garageband, iTunes U, others) take up a few gigs

Can't login into Reddit

I use Safari on my iPad to go to the reddit website. I try putting in my username and password and Safari just clears out the form fields and nothing happens. Anyone else see this?

OSX server Authentication also broken in iOS8?

I have some HTTP Live Streaming video on a Mavericks server with access control.

No problem with a laptop and iOS7 devices but Safari and Chrome iOS8 browsers sit there with a spinning wheel after entering user name and password. The Mercury browser plays the video.

There is no issues when I disable access control at the server.... well except that there is no access control :)
