IOS8 / Iphone 6 Sync Issues
Hi,
Been having issues all weekend with my 128Gb iPhone 6. I download 40Gb of music with itunes match. I sat on the plane for a short flight, put it in Airplane mode and bang ...I actually have 34 songs, it just scrolled through all the ones i had downloaded and after it had failed to play them removed them from the phone !!!
I also tied many times (complete with reboots and everything) to sync a few video's to watch (not using wifi, using a cable) and it would just always say waiting to apply changes or waiting for sync to start or some other garbage...
Now I'm sat in the hotel room and tried once more and now it's flipping doing it !!! Unbelievable !!

On iPhone 5 when in Safari or Itunes Store, if I share an item by email and type the first few letters of the address and then pick it from the list of contacts that appear, the share window immediately closes and the message does not send. If I type out the address entirely (not using the contacts shortcut) I can edit the message and it sends correctly. Strangely this works fine in the App Store.
This bug does not appear on my iPad Air.
Also, editing the share shortcuts keeps resetting when Safari is quit.
A single press on the home button often brings up multitasking rather than going to the home screen (driving me effing insane).
My phone now shuts down at around 20% battery, never had this problem before.
Wifi speeds are divided by half (same net connection, same router).
On iPad 2 the interface is lagging pretty much everywhere but especially in Safari and multitasking. I'll try a clean install next week.
Apple rushed this one out the door for the iPhone 6 launch. iOS 8.0.1 better come fast.

Also, private mode tabs don't auto-expunge after you leave private mode, which is something that may lead to some awkward coversations...

I actually had this happen occasionally in iOS 7 as well.
iOS 8 screwed up the wifi on my 5S. 2.4 ghz it'll lock up but not lose connection and 5ghz it won't lock up but it'll lose connection all together. Funny cuz last year I had problems with 5ghz locking up and dropping. The issue is worse this year because both bands are affected.

Not reproducible on iPhone, presumably because it doesn't have the same "dimmed background, click anywhere on that to dismiss" feature that iPads have.
- Open Safari and type any word into address bar.
- Highlight word and click "define".
- Click anywhere not on the dictionary popup.
- Safari crashes.

This happened every time I went to spotlight... I reset and it works fine again.

iMessage photo attachment bug?
i have a friend with an iPhone 5 still running iOS 7. When she sends me a picture attachment in iMessage it will show a progress circle for downloading the file, but it's complete. 100% but the photo doesn't show. (It will show something like 124k/124k complete.)
I rebooted the phone just to check, and those same progress circles For the attachments just show a big question mark icon. Strange.
Maybe there's a bug in sending photos via iMessage from an ios 7 device to an iOS 8 device?

iPad 2, sound does not work, volume is all of the way up. If I restart the device, volume works again, but will stop as soon as I start to watch a video on YouTube.

AirPlay crashes if I try to mirror to my Apple TV when both are on the same network.
Safari always crashes on Joystiqs website...?
Safari sometimes pushed the website up into the url bar.
Location doesn't always work in messages.
Feature requests:
Turn off quick reply.
See all reminders in today view instead of just 4.
Also automatically sort reminders in app by what's due first.

yep, was happening on 6plus right after I would hang up on phone call, almost seems like the audio is still i dunno like connected too phone and not switching or something like that...worried it was a 6plus prob but happpened on ipad air yest as well..reported too apple for bug
iOS 8 keeps resetting my custom text tones on my iPad and iPhone contacts. Tones I purchased from iTunes store
I set them on iPad, I set them to match on iPhone because they automatically don't populate over. Then they revert to standard tone first on one device, then on both devices, then on one device stop mocking me iOS

1. Bluetooth calling not working. Tried with a '13 Mercedes, '12 Chevy, '13 Honda, & '11 bmw. Definitely not the cars fault lol.
2. Sportscenter app take forever to load and randomly crashes. A bunch of apps are very slow & unresponsive.

I am on an iPhones 5s with Verizon. Here is what's happening...
1. I receive a phone call and answer
2. Another call comes in while I am on the line and I answer. Person 1 disconnects.
3. Another person calls while I am on line with person 2. I check my phone only to find my caller ID claiming "Multiple Calls". I must wait until the call goes to voicemail to then go to missed calls and see who it was. In previous iOS versions, I would of course see who was calling.

Bluetooth connected to car, streaming music. When you double tap the home button to multi-task, it lowers the volume of the music. When you're in any app, it doesn't return the volume to what it was, it remains lowered. Only way I was able to reset the volume was to stop music playback and start again.
I was using Spotify, so not sure if it was an app specific issue.

I'm using Bluetooth on my iP6 and my Toyota Auris and it is working perfectly fine.
