My keyboard (swift key & Swype) is also not sticking and several times I was unable to bring a keyboard up at all. I make one or the other the default keyboard and after typing an email or two and doing something else, the next thing I know the native Apple keyboard has popped up again.

no, never happened on iOS5.
Happens to my GF's 4s as well and colleagues from work with iPhone 5's. Also, google search brings up others.
My iOS 8.0.2 Locks Up
My 5s did fine with the 8.0 update but took a turn for the worst when I updated to 8.0.2.
At least once a day the phone locks, sometimes it's apparent (nothing works) then other times apps lock or don't function normally, the camera is on but won't take a picture - just a host of glitches - then it locks.
Yesterday it took many tries to do a forced restart/reboot.
I hope there is a fix for the fix coming soon...

First mini reboot ( like the one after switching to bold text) and thus was on homescreen after exiting app and about to go into another...

Just please...PLEASE...fix the frozen keyboard in Safari!
There are all kinds of UI glitches and weird stuff that makes me said for an iOS release, but the only one that is really frustrating me is that freakin' frozen keyboard! It happened to me twice already today!
*Note: I am using the default keyboard. I never installed any third party ones.

Is the firkin s a key fixed? Even with typing two hands the s comes up when it should be an a. Come on autocorrect type team. Double down read the sentence it's an a its obvious
cheersWhen I restart the phone and double click home button the mail app shows black in the recently used apps. When I tap on it and then double tap home it appears fine. Sometimes reminders or camera app appears black like this. Anyone has that or it is just me?

Facebook itself is a piece of junk, even using a proper web browser on a computer. There have been a number of somewhat decent apps that have done FB more pleasantly than their own app (I tried one when their app wanted to always start in portrait when my iPad was lock to landscape) but they seem to be intent on making sure no one can offer the complete feature set. Now, on iOS 8, the Facebook app sometimes refuses to acknowledge multitasking gestures (I can force it by pulling down the notification view and swiping from there).
Very annoying bug:
