Not sure if it's already been posted here:

1. Turning off the timer alarm when it's going off sometimes just resets the timer but the alarm keeps going off instead of being reset too

2. Writing an app review, sometimes you get just a big blank window with a 'cancel' at the top left. Tapping cancel and then 'write review' a few times eventually loads the review window fully.

I'm on IOS 8.02 and I have an issue with air play. When I stream video to apple tv from my iphone or ipad I use the lock screen pause when I have to pause. But with IOS8 whenever I pause from lock screen the whole video is stopped not paused and I have to restart it all over again.

Can someone confirm if 8.1 beta 2 has fixed this issue?

My 5s completely lost the ability to download and upload data over both WiFi and LTE. I tried turning on airplane mode, waiting a bit and turning it off and still nothing.

I turned my phone off and on and that fixed it, but apparently it had been broken for over two hours. This is the second time I've seen this happen with iOS 8.0.2 and the first time it required a restart to fix.

Removing the WSJ app worked for me too

It has been reported elsewhere that the Wall Street Journal app is causing this. I deleted the WSJ app, and now app downloads and updates are working. I've also cancelled my WSJ subscription.

belle787: perhaps that is your issue also.

I then installed the updated app and the downloads started working again. WSJ owes me for a lot of wasted time.

On my iPhone 5s

I'm experiencing a few bugs... The one that its bothering me the most is..

If i'm texting... and i set my phone down it almost always goes into landscape mode (may be too sensitive now). But the problem is when i get a notification while in landscape, it locks my phone into landscape mode!!

Secondly. when in landscape mode and sometimes in portrait, I'll receive notifications that won't disappear until i push the home button.

I have a number of issues on my iPad 3rd gen. But the ones mentioned here are the most annoying to me.. Probably because they happen the most frequently.

iTunes failing to transfer music to iPhone6

in my opinion, apple has been letting me down big time when it comes to the technology were paying out the a** for. when some of the features work, its great I wont deny that but CMON!.

after the recent update from ios 8 to 8.0.2 I have been having the hardest time with EVERYTHING.
1.as mentioned above by another member, I cant scrub a video to a designated point during playback (have to stop, select the point, press play:mad:)

2. songs (albums) wont trans to my phone tru iTunes. and if by chance some do, its a random 2-4 songs out of a whole album.

3. My album covers do not show up on my phone even for the iTunes PURCHASED material.

4. touch screen is FAR less responsive.

now I have been reserving judgment because im a huge apple guy, but even after doing an in-store swap out these issues persist. im at a loss here and on the fence to go SG5.

if anyone is experiencing any of these issues and found a fix plz shoot me a msg. PLEASE. :D

Has anyone had any issues with the camera app? I could previously repeatedly tap the take photo button and take multiple pictures very quickly, now I am lucky to be able to take 2 in 3 seconds. It's very stuttery and laggy. Is this a phone or an iOS issue?

Apologies for any duplication, but I can't face trawling 30 pages to see which of these may already have been mentioned:

1. Intermittently lose the ability to delete individual messages from a conversation in Messages (specifically, tap and hold a message to bring up the checkboxes to select which you want to delete, but there's no trash bin icon - Messages continues to display the reply box instead).

2. General > Usage > Manage Storage > Music causes Settings to crash every time.

3. Wifi sync is unavailable more often than not. Although that I guess could equally be a problem with my Yosemite Public Beta.

4. A really minor one, this: disabling Cellular Data causes the slider switch to 'stick' for a couple of seconds

Just tried music. Fine for me. Not crashing settings.

Messages fine too. Can see the delete bin icon

Yes, the first one of those I've not seen anyone complain about.

The latter happens intermittently - not all the time.

Moments ago I was syncing movie to my i6 but not too sure what happen, the transfer stopped halfway leaving a dotted line circle next to the movie title in iPhone. I tried to sync it again but this time it sync all my music album covers. I let it finish and see what happens and the movie wasn't load it in to my iPhone and now half of my music disappeared. The odd thing is whenever I plug my usb to the iPhone 6, it keeps on updating files/trying to add album arts and now it updates 1356 of songs everytime I sync the phone. I have all those albums arts already so it shouldn't be adding itself.

Really frustrated that it deleted half of my music so now I have to restore as new phone.

Huh. Turns out I wasn't the only person having these issues. There's a solution for the Manage Storage > Music causing Settings to crash, too.

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6554050

There's a very minor annoyance that for me using Group by Album Artist to resolve this results in iTunes automatically downloading artist artwork (which I didn't download and can't remove manually). But better than a crash.

As for the Messages deletion bug, this is what I get intermittently. Killing and restarting the Messages app temporarily solves it:

[badwords] iBooks [profanity, insults]

Ok, technically, it is not, but this thing is broken, it makes me angry, and there is no excuse. I am going to call it a bug*.

In 7, I had a nice tannish background for the page, with dark text. Now it is white text on black – which may be fine for reading in bed, but I am not reading in bed. Yes, I can change it, with Settings>General>Accessibility>Invert_Colors, but that means I have to go back there to change it back if I want to do something else.

I would like to know why Apple just off-handedly decided to make this change, giving me no practical way to deal with it. If they cannot give me a good answer, I shall taunt them a second time.

Had reminders set to show 5 in notifications center. Said there were 5 more today so I set it to show 10. It doesn't work. Still shows 5
I believe that number applies to how many notifications (in the Notifications section) to show for that app, not how many items in the widget (in the Today section).

Nope it says show in notificstion center. It's very clear.

Right, notifications are in the Notification Center (in the Notifications section of it). The options are for notifications and not widgets. Those options exist for all apps essentially, including all those that don't have widgets (and have nothing to do with the Today section of the notification center).

On 8.0.2 have been like many, the safari page loading wheel spinning non stop. Reseting network settings and cache deleting and hard setting has just been a temporary fix.

Ipad 3 running 8.0.2 has seen a previous bug appear in the bookmarks using google. This was reported and sorted in IOS6 and somehow its back again in 8. Ive reported it again. When using google from bookmarks, the page loads fine, but when you click on the box to bring up the keyboard. On pressing the first letter the keypad goes straight back down again. You then obviously have to press the box again to get it back up.

I'm hoping apple also return the bookmark launch to previous full window and not the current squashed page, which you then have to press the bookmark tab to get the full page, so user unfriendly.

I've had a bug show up in 8.0.0 on my 6.
When I take pictures, it does not save the picture. At first I thought it was because I was taking pics from the lock screen so I would purposely unlock it and open camera and try to take a picture and it clicks but does not save the pic. Usually happens the first pic and I have to go and retake it. Happens more when I focus on an area and then take the pic. Happens almost every time now. Was never a problem up until a few days ago.

FaceTime crashing

Since the latest iOS update:

FaceTime crashes my iPad everytime
