I am torn. It does seem like a minor upgrade from 12, but I've been on my 8 for 4 years and the battery life is appalling and I told myself I would definitely just get the next one, having regretted not changing to the 12...

I did get the 2017 MBP even though there were so many issues and the next one that was supposedly so much better, but I needed it in a pinch and it's still serving me well till today. So maybe the 13 would be the same who knows.

Or maybe I can stretch my 8 one more year............

Only 3 holes on the bottom, compared to 4 on my 12 pro max, hmmm. 🤔

And 5 on the other side, compared to 6 on my 12 pro max, hmmm 🤔

I will buy the 13 pro but the lens configuration is really stupid. Whlie I love the 13mm ultra wide and 77mm telephoto, the 26mm makes no sense. Huge gap between 26mm and 77mm. Why not a 35-45mm instead?

Very happy with my 12 Pro Max on iOS 14.x.x... It's been a real work horse and my fav iPhone to date ( owned all iPhones except 5c ) ... Not getting the 13 or iOS 15 ( yet ) for me this year..

Until you realize iOS 15 and the 13 pro max is your favorite phone to date 😁👇😍🤩😲

Hey, you stole my thread. Only kidding. ;)

I'm going to go with the Mini. This update included basically everything I hoped for - longer battery life, smaller notch, X60 modem, increased storage/lower price, and even a brighter display.

The longer battery life, 1000 nits, and ProMotion display of the Pro models is tempting, but with this being the last year of the Mini (most likely), and with me wanting to downsize my XS Max for 2 years now, I think I have to go with the Mini. If I don't like it, I can always sell it and upgrade to the 2022 iPhone next year.

Now, to figure out which color to get the Mini in. 🤔
People are in for a rude awakening with the 120hrz battery life. Apple is quoting battery life with
Have 12 Pro, hate the weight of it. My hand literally gets tired holding it in bed. Considering "downgrading" to 13 or even 13 mini, now that they have basically the same camera specs as 12pro. Would be real nice to have a small and light phone again!
exactly. Most dont realize the pro models have a inferior metal to the regular models. Stainless Steel is cheap. 316 or not. 7700 series aluminum cost 3 times as much per pound. Used by nasa to build space craft and has similar properties to titanium. Apples marketing team is one of the best. The 13 actually is physically the more premium device as far as materials are concerned. Those margins on the pro models are high.

Think I’ll stick out my X for another year. Had planned on upgrading this year, but just seems like such a minor upgrade over last year. Funnily enough, if the 12 had 120Hz last year I would’ve upgraded but just don’t feel the 13 this year. Based on the thread, the quick charger or MagSafe changing must be doing a number on the battery. My launch day X is sitting at 84% after almost 4 years and I wouldn’t say I’m a light user either.
