This is the only thing that's keeping me on the fence about getting a 13 Pro Max over waiting one more year with my 11 Pro Max. However, it seems like Apple's on a 3 year cycle for iPhones (X, XS, and 11, possibly 12, 13, 14 with the same body style design), so this design may stay good for another 2 years.
Where are my Melbourne folks at 👀 will we be getting our phones next Friday? Stupid public holiday again on iPhone launch day, TNT didn't deliver last year till Monday. 🤦♂️😡

I'm with AT&T with an unlimited plan and if I understand the offer correctly, I can get up to $1000 off for trading a phone worth more than $180. I have an 11pro with normal scuffs, no cracks, so I should be able to qualify for the $180 minimum trade in.
For that I may as well "splurge" to get the $999 13Pro because the 128gb storage is enough for me. Anything less like a 13 or 12 is leaving credits on the table.

Upgrading from an Excess Max to a 13 Pro Max in Sierra Blue. 256 GB is more than enough. Biggest motivator: 5G.

Made a (really rough) compilation of non-render Sierra Blue in different light conditions from Apple's promotional videos. Some of these might be victims of editing and filters but I am liking how it changes depending on light, just like Pacific Blue.
No matter which model I end up with (13 mini or pro) after my 6, I'm looking forward to playing with the more evolved camera options.

I still think Pacific is nicer blue but I don't feel disappoint about Sierra anymore after seeing it in all those videos. Definitely nicer than Graphite so it'll be my color too this year. 👍

I’d also add if you were like me, loved the Pacific Blue 12 Pro but couldn’t justify getting one because you already had the 11, and now the 13 is here and you like Sierra…. Then I’d probably say, go for it. I myself have always wanted a top tier blue iPhone.
Because I’d predict after two blue’s in a row for the exclusive iPhone Pro colour, I say, Apple will most probably go with a different colour altogether for the iPhone 14 Pro next year but yeah thats my take

Any recommendations? The Apple one is nice but it's very thick and bulky.
PowerSupport AirJacket is very slim but lets in a lot of dust and hair.
Don't really like gummy ones either.
I've been using the Spigen Liquid Crystal cases for years and they've protected my phone from many falls out of my incredibly clumsy hands. The "anti-yellowing" version is a bit stronger if you need more protection, but I've never had my phones get damaged from falls so far.
